Marisol Contuma AI Art by Night Cafe Studio

Hello Splinterlands Summoners! Our guild has just finished another Brawl. Our performance was fine, we earned some Merits and SPS. I was also able to buy some Gladius cases and upgrade a couple of cards.

Brawl Performance

I contributed 3 wins in this Brawl out of 8 battles. Some fights were close but in some I got outplayed. The opponent also got the edge in some battles preventing the use of Quora, my best weapon in most battles.

Our guild is in fourth place. Overall, we earned 5.5k Merits and 80 SPS. Not a bad haul in this Brawl.

Gladius Cases

Time to spend the Merits I earned. In addition to the one I got from the Brawl, I also got some from reward chests so I have over 13k Merits in total to spend. I'll buy 6 packs for 12k Merits.

I got 30 cards to add to my collection. The best card is an epic Marisol Contuma.

I was able to level up a couple of good cards that I often use in battle. Orella Abadon (Rare) and Marisol Contuma (Epic).

Marisol Contuma

Marisol Contuma is a great card in second position because he has the Reach ability. He deals 4 melee damage at level 1 and has 5 speed, 4 armor and 8 health. His stats are good for a tank but his abilities are not. He doesn't have Phase or Shield abilities that is necessary for units in the first position.

Sample Battle

I use Gladiator cards in battle from time to time and for the Light Splinter, it's often Marisol or Captain Katie. Here's a sample showing how Marisol can be used in battles.
