Hoy quiero expresar algo que muchos de nosotros no percibimos a primera vista, el talento. Todos tenemos algo maravilloso. Un talento que nos hace únicos, diferentes, especiales. Un talento que nos permite aportar valor al mundo, a los demás, a nosotros mismos. Un talento que nos llena de satisfacción, de orgullo, de felicidad.

Today I want to express something that many of us do not perceive at first sight, talent. We all have something wonderful. A talent that makes us unique, different, special. A talent that allows us to add value to the world, to others, to ourselves. A talent that fills us with satisfaction, pride, happiness.

Pero no siempre reconocemos nuestro talento. A veces, lo ignoramos, lo escondemos, lo negamos. A veces, lo subestimamos, lo desaprovechamos, lo desperdiciamos. A veces, lo envidiamos, lo criticamos, lo rechazamos. Y así, nuestro talento se apaga. Se apaga como una vela que se consume, como una flor que se marchita, como una estrella que se extingue. Se apaga como una voz que se calla, como una mirada que se baja, como una sonrisa que se borra. Pero no tiene que ser así. Podemos encender nuestro talento. Podemos descubrirlo, desarrollarlo, potenciarlo. Podemos mostrarlo, compartirlo, multiplicarlo. Podemos disfrutarlo, celebrarlo, agradecerlo. Solo tenemos que atrevernos. A buscar, a probar, a aprender. A fallar, a mejorar, a crecer. A arriesgar, a cambiar, a sorprender.

But we don't always recognize our talent. Sometimes we ignore it, hide it, deny it. Sometimes we underestimate it, waste it, squander it. Sometimes we envy it, criticize it, reject it. And so, our talent is extinguished. It goes out like a candle that burns out, like a flower that withers, like a star that is extinguished. It goes out like a voice that is silenced, like a gaze that is lowered, like a smile that is erased. But it doesn't have to be that way. We can ignite our talent. We can discover it, develop it, enhance it. We can show it, share it, multiply it. We can enjoy it, celebrate it, be grateful for it. We just have to dare. To search, to try, to learn. To fail, to improve, to grow. To risk, to change, to surprise.

Tenemos que confiar. En nuestro instinto, en nuestra intuición, en nuestra vocación. En nuestra pasión, en nuestra motivación, en nuestra inspiración. Tenemos que amar. Nuestro talento, nuestra esencia, nuestra diferencia. Nuestro trabajo, nuestra creación, nuestra expresión. ¿Y cómo lo hacemos? Dando color a lo que hacemos. Un color que lo represente, que lo identifique, que lo distinga. Un color que lo resalte, que lo ilumine, que lo embellezca. Por supuesto, esto no era así en mi vida hasta hace poco, porque he sido un poco inseguro.

Pero, una amiga pasó por allí y se paró a mirar mi trabajo, lo que hago con amor, y me lo imaginé así porque era algo que ella había escrito: Me sonrió y dijo: "Qué bonito, qué original, qué expresivo". No supe qué responder. No tenía ninguna explicación, ninguna intención, ninguna definición. Sólo tenía una sensación, una emoción, una impresión. Y también me dijo que había descubierto algo muy importante, muy valioso, muy especial. Esto me hizo muy feliz porque sentí que todo el amor y el cariño que había puesto en él no eran en vano, me animó a seguir explorando mi arte.

We have to trust. In our instinct, in our intuition, in our vocation. In our passion, in our motivation, in our inspiration. We just have to love. Our talent, our essence, our difference. Our work, our creation, our expression. And how do we do it? By giving color to what we do. A color that represents it, that identifies it, that distinguishes it. A color that highlights it, that illuminates it, that embellishes it. Of course, this was not the case in my life until recently, because I have been a bit insecure.

But, a friend passed by and stopped to look at my work, what I do with love, and I imagined it that way because it was something she wrote: She smiled at me and said: "How beautiful, how original, how expressive". I didn't know what to answer. I had no explanation, no intention, no definition. I just had a feeling, an emotion, an impression. And he also told me that he had discovered something very important, very valuable, very special. This made me very happy because I felt that all the love and affection I have put into it was not in vain, it encouraged me to continue exploring my art.

Tenemos que confiar en nosotros mismos, en nuestras capacidades, en nuestras posibilidades. En nuestro valor, en nuestro potencial, en nuestro brillo. Y como también podemos hablar de dar color a nuestra vida y talentos yo elegiría el amarillo, el color de la luz, de la alegría, del optimismo. El amarillo que ilumina mi camino, me da entusiasmo, me llena de positivismo. También elegiría el azul, el color del cielo, del mar, de la tranquilidad. El azul me invita a soñar, a viajar, a relajarme.

El mundo necesita que demostremos nuestro talento y siempre debemos darle color a lo que hacemos porque siempre existirán personas que podran admirarla e inspirarlas.

And how we can also talk about giving color to our life and talents I would choose yellow, the color of light, joy, optimism. The yellow that lights up my way, gives me enthusiasm, fills me with positivism. I would also choose blue, the color of the sky, the sea, tranquility. Blue invites me to dream, to travel, to relax.

The world needs us to show our talent and we should always give color to what we do because there will always be people who could admire and inspire them.
