RE: Some feline feels

You have quite a feline family there. I never was a cat lover, because of my love for our feathered friends.
However, we've now adopted, or rather inherited, our son and his gal's Poe, who's already crept into our hearts, but he's a hunter...already killed a little garden bird so we'll have to devise a plan and get a bigger bell for his collar AND add colorful fabric to his collar or else the two of us are going to have a love hate relationship!
I do hope you feel better soon Fiona, please take care❤️

Ah, Lizelle, they do eat your way into our hearts. J, who's moving this weekend, was a dedicated dog lover until she met Gandalf. Before she moved the last time, she lived next door to the pottery and at one point, they had 2 kittens. Smudge spent more time with her than them. So, when the potter's widow left the village, Smudge went to live with her, and J has never looked back.

On the hunting: I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the bell won't make any difference. Rather look at relocating your bird feeders so she can't perch so close to them. Perhaps Arthur could rig up a pulley system? Put them higher? Just a suggestion.

We'll have to do that so even though it won't be monkey-proof, at least the birds won't become another trophy for Poe😉

Some cats eventually lose interest in hunting. We have one that doesn't, one that doesn't as often, and one that does. Almost every day. Sigh...
