Supporting my Child in my Local Children's Pilgrimage Esp/Eng

In the town where I live, a cultural and religious manifestation takes place, such as the pilgrimage of the Virgin of Lourdes. This event has been going on for 120 years and many people come from different states for this celebration.

En la localidad donde vivo, se lleva a cabo una manifestación cultural y religiosa, como lo es la peregrinación de la Virgen de Lourdes. Está manifestación lleva 120 años realizando y se recibe muchas personas de diversos estados para esta celebración.

Today it was his turn to attend the children's pilgrimage, both from the educational institutions and those who belong to the catechetical centers to receive formation and to be able to fulfill the sacrament of first communion.

El día de hoy le tocó asistir a la peregrinación infantil, tanto de la instituciones educativas; como los que pertenecen a los centros de catequesis para recibir formación y poder cumplir con el sacramento de la primera comunión.

The truth is that for me it was a day, where my son was days ago undecided whether to make his first communion. El año pasado lo inscribí y no pudo cumplir con sus actividades ya que le chocaba con el juego de fútbol que a él le encanta.Tome la decisión de sacarlo y que sea cuando esté más grande y tome la decisión el.

Today was the day where he told me that he will attend since they will give him the opportunity to alternate his training and games with his catechesis classes.

Even though today was the day of the student pilgrimage, there were few schools participating; but those that attended fulfilled the objective of blessing and starting this celebration that many people await with great devotion.

Hoy fue ese día donde me dijo que si asistirá ya que le van a dar la oportunidad de poder alternar sus entrenamientos, juegos con la clases de catequesis.
A pesar de que hoy era el día de la peregrinación de estudiantes, se vieron pocas escuelas participando; pero las que asistieron se cumplió el objetivo de poder bendecir y dar inicio a esta celebración que muchas personas, esperan con mucha devoción.

The tour was from a place called the Calvary which has a lot of steps. From there we went to the grotto where all the students gathered and my son was with my niece who also finally decided to fulfill this sacrament

El recorrido fue desde un lugar llamado el calvario el cual tiene una gran cantidad de escalones. Desde allí salimos hasta la gruta donde se reunieron todos los estudiantes y mi hijo estuvo con mi sobrina que también por fin se decidieron a cumplir con este sacramento.

For me the best thing is to see my son make the decision and this year if he will receive his sacrament, without interfering with his passion which is soccer.

Para mí lo mejor es ver a mi hijo tomar la decisión y este año si recibirá su sacramento, sin que interfiera con su pasión que es el fútbol.
