I had the opportunity to visit the largest karst mountain tourist destination in the world, located in Maros.

Rammang-Rammang is one of the iconic tourist destinations in South Sulawesi. This attraction is located in Salenrang Village, Bontoa District, Maros Regency, South Sulawesi.

Rammang-Rammang offers a stunning panorama of majestic and captivating karst mountain formations (limestone mountains). This karst mountain range is said to be the largest in the world after Chilind in China and Tsingy in Madagascar. The area has even been recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

In addition to the breathtaking views of the karst mountains, there are various other attractions and exciting activities to experience in Rammang-Rammang tourist village. These include exploring the white river by boat, enjoying the atmosphere of Berua village, exploring caves, trekking through the stone forest, and staying at the Rammang-Rammang Eco Lodge to witness the beautiful sunrise in the morning.
