Thanks for the update! A random thought struck my mind.
If someone has 50 Hive:
Option A: Buy 10 LENM, and it gives 3.33 points.
Option B: Delegate to @liotes.voter, and it gives 1.67 points.
So buying LENM gives twice the number of points versus delegation.
Both earn LEN in different ways but the APR for both seemed to be around the same based on your video.
Your calculation is pretty accurate. So far the situation was that holding 10 LENM staked would give you only 1 point. If you delegate 50 LENM, you get 1.66 points. We found this not totally ok for people buying LENM. When you delegate, the money remains yours and at any time you can cancell your delegation without encurring any losses. When you purchase LENM, you invest into the project. Your risks are at much higher than if you delegate. We thought that this new point repartition was fairer for LENM holders. Since we don't take anything away from delegators or people participating in the missions, we thought that we would be able to give more appreciation for LENM holders.
Yeah I agree on the higher risks of investing in the project versus delegation! 😉
He believes these changes will benefit everyone and create a more level playing field. Excellent work.

I think it's fair for the LENM stakers. Maybe I missed it, do we also get points for having LEN/LENM in the diesel pools?
LENM in the diesel pool are not counted for practical reasons (it would take a lot of time to add them, sorry about that)
Oh well, I get it. At least they are liquid. Not that I used any of them for ages, lol.
