Hello to all my friends from WEEKEND EXPERIENCES, the month of July is always a month of joy in my house because my son and I have a birthday. This Saturday was my birthday so we had planned to go to the Scala Restaurant at the Meliá Habana Hotel, a very cozy place with very good service, and since it was the weekend we could all go, something that I really like, because I always like to be surrounded of my family

Well, on Saturday the house woke up in total uproar in the morning my son and my husband bought cake and sweets and my brother made me a very delicious tropical fruit cocktail they sang congratulations to me they gave me gifts and that's how my birthday began.

In the afternoon we went to eat at the Restaurant as I had explained before, we had a great time, it is a very nice Hotel, with a magnificent gastronomic service, very good quality and excellent food preparation. While we waited to be served, we toured the hotel, it's a beautiful place.

In the center of the Hotel there is a garden with a lot of varied vegetation very well arranged and some water ponds with very colorful Carp fish, the children throw food at it without realizing that they dirty the place. It is a very well designed environment where all the vegetation contrasts very well with the building. Being a beautiful combination.

In that garden there is a statue of the body of a woman with wings, without head, arms and feet, it looked like a mutilated angel, I must say that I love the world of sculpture and when I got home I began to investigate because it caught my attention this sculpture and I found that its original representation is in the Louvre Museum and it is the statue of the Victory of Samothrace, discovered in 1863 and dating from the 2nd century BC, I leave the link at the end of the publication so that you can read this interesting story.

Continuing our walk I tell you that the restaurant is very beautiful and original, it has a mosaic floor of different types and colors, very nice lamps and the chairs of all the tables were different and some like the one we had also had a sofa.

The decoration of the place has a very nice style for me, it unites many details that I like very much, lamps, vases and paintings, therefore, I felt like we Cubans say "like a fish in water" hahaha.

The restaurant menu can be viewed using the QR code that is placed on the table. We decided to eat Italian food, we ordered cannelloni, pizzas, calzones and spaghetti, all varied and we had juices, soft drinks and beer hahahaha.

To finish, we ordered chesscake for dessert, which I love, and bromni. They were all spectacular.

It really was a very nice day that we spent as a family the way I like it.
