What's the common between a war and a powerful destructive earthquake?

No doubt, many things could be found in common but I am expressing my thought with regards to one aspect. Greed. The sick desire of us people to possess something that doesn't belong to us. The sick desire to posses more and more. Much more than what's actually needed to be happy and alive. The sick desire to have the land, the car, the wife, the recourses, the money of the neighbor. The sick desire to increase profit margins by using low quality construction elements and materials. The list is endless; examples could be seen everywhere.

I have a simple wish today. I wish I am better. I wish we are better. I wish you are better. I wish we all could comprehend the bigger picture and understand how everything is interconnected.

This is something I was thinking about just today - am I a better person than my yesterday self. And I openly admit, because I am an honest and open person, that I am not a better person, on the contrary. I'm getting worse every day. And I don't even think that's a pity anymore. That's okay. The world is constructed this way. Point. 😔
