Power of Photography

Some describe Photography as Time Machine.

It is that. I fully agree.

It freezes time.

Often what's photographed continues to exist only in those pictures.

That is one of the "powers" of Photography.

You probably know by now how much I love Black & White or sometimes referred as Monochromatic photography. I have always believed that while Color Photography shows the external part of our world, Black and White Photography shows the soul, the inner hidden side of everything. Please consider the first photo of this post as my entry today to the established #monomad daily contest by the monochromes account and community and supported by the qurator account, thank you everyone for your hard and continuous efforts to build and grow this great community!

“Time machine” is a good way to describe these photographs, because they do look like some old photos. Excellent work!

An excellent photo series @lightcaptured friend, with praiseworthy light management and an exquisite use of diverse, anarchic and complex elements and lines...

I especially loved this wonderful low angle photo, composed in a challenging and eloquent way!...
