Dospat is one of the relatively high-altitude water dams in Bulgaria.

Rhodope Mountain.

This is one of my favorite large bodies of water to visit in the summer, because the place is cool even in the hottest summer days.

So apart from the few thousand people who live there, the most of the visitor go there in the summer and early autumn.

The winter though, has its beautiful sides there.

Here, in this series, there is thick ice covering the surface of the dam.

This is late March, by the way!

In fact, the area is great in all seasons, with regards to Photography!
