Now, the crap - Photography by LightCaptured
Yup, I found some aspects of this "memorial part" a real crap.
The marble plaque at the bottom part of the image is for the fallen in the armed Ilinden uprising in 1903, everyone from Pirin village.
A cleric, two brave women and a dozen of men.
Up above that, is the item that smells like sh**. Actually, I think it is good nobody took care to remove it as it is a reminder of the dark commie-socialist times where people had to be "inspired" to do their jobs.
The literal translation of that sign, of course written with red capital letters, is:
"EACH COLLECTIVE EVERY MONTH WITH FULFILLED PLAN !"
All by itself, this probably sounds ok but from the perspective of the past and what has been done during those 45 years... well... this is so wrong on so many levels...
