Happiness? Wedding traditions and rituals, Ribnovo docuseries

Common sense - weddings are happy events.

As a friend of mine said once, "all divorces begin with a marriage".

What a wise guy, huh?

However, in the event when a celebration continues for three days, could everyone stay in a state of happiness for all those three days?

Well, I don't know, but that's just me.

I think three days is a lot, but as a ritual, maybe just the family will keep happy.

Oh, like all the wedding, preparations sometimes take months but indeed, a celebration of three days and I hear sometimes even more is a bit too much, for me, of course. :)

It was almost obligatory here for the most of the weddings, I remember a photo from the ceremony of my aunt, about 50 years ago, she is literally covered up in those... On my wedding about 25 years ago, money in envelopes...

I don't think anyone will mind money in envelope, even in the far future...
Just human nature :D
