In my opinion, EF135mm f/2L USM is the best portrait lens by Canon. A bit too "long", so inside the studio it is mostly headshots but outside, it's a real gem ;)
I am going to have to check it out. I prefer my 70-200, but it would be cool to be able to open up a bit more.
I've tried the most of the "common" Canon L-series zoom lens, I'd say that prime lenses are the masters and zoom lenses are the apprentices, lol. Moreover, prime lenses are always faster, both in terms of light and in terms of focusing.

The almighty Canon L 135 f/2, one of my favorite lenses. Too bad it's too heavy to carry it every day :)
