Dancing at the square - Wedding traditions and rituals, Ribnovo docuseries

Celebratory dancing continues at the village main square.

Otherwise it's the main road through the village, now it is totally closed for all vehicles.

I'm always attracted to communities that celebrate together like this. Beautiful people following their traditions, it's Lovely! :)

Thank you! It is very typical for this part of the country to have huge weddings with hundreds of people celebrating. In the big cities the weddings are usually much smaller ;)

Is this Bulgarian, Turkish, Gypsy or mixed wedding?

It is in Bulgaria and the people in this village are Muslims, all of them, as far as I know. Christian folklore costumes are quite different.

OK, it looks definitely not as traditional Bulgarian. More Turkish or Gypsy.
