Can you tell an ocean from a sea?

When you stand on the shore, in front of an ocean or a sea, could you tell the difference?

Well, I can't explain why and how but I believe I can.

I've been many times on the shores of several sea and a few times at the shores of the Atlantic Ocean. And I really feel the difference.

Indeed, it is impossible for the human eyes to see the opposite shore but I guess our internal eyes can see and feel much more. We do have to trust our internal "sensors" more, don't we...
