Leaf Carving Art

Recently I visited Lokversa Museum in Islamabad where artisans from all over Pakistan come and exhibit their art work. I saw many unique traditional art work there and I also found some new art forms. In these new art forms Leaf Carving Art was mesmerizing. In leaf carving artwork artist trims the leaves to make a picture or landscape. The process of carving is delicate as artist has to use some tools to carefully cut the leaf's surface without removing the veins. The veins add detail into the subject matter of the carving. I saw some mixed photographs made on leaf like Dear, calligraphy, Picture of Quid e Azam and Pakistan's Map. These all pictures are made beautifully and all necessary details can be seen in these pictures. So I decided to share this new art work with Hive community. Hope you people like it.
