I started playing on Terracore on March 23, 2023, and today, May 24, 2023, it has been 62 days.
Today I return to share my gaming experience and investment strategy on this game which is an interesting and fun web 3.0 idle game developed on the Hive blockchain.

If you don't know Terracore you can read the 4 posts I published earlier on my Hive blog in which I shared my gaming experience, my strategic and also financial choices because every blockchain-based game has a dual aspect, a gaming aspect and a financial aspect.

New change to Mine Rate

Just over 18 hours ago @terracore published a post in which he announced a change to the Engineering game statistic that governs the Mine Rate of the SCRAP tokens** that are the tokens native of Terracore: Terracore: Devlog #24 - Engineering & Mine Rate Changes $SCRAP

The explanation of the need to make this change was published in the post I linked you above and from which I took the following screenshot.

The recent change to the Engineering statistics had an immediate positive effect on my Mine Rate.

Before the recent change my Engineering = 7 statistic guaranteed me:

• a gain of 0.00017716 SCRAP per second
• a gain of 0.63776 SCRAP per hour
• a gain of 15.30629 SCRAP per day.

Now the same Engineering = 7 statistic guarantees me:

• a gain of 0.0003703704 SCRAP per second
• a gain of 1.33333 SCRAP per hour
• a gain of 32 SCRAPs per day.

My SCRAP gain per second has more than doubled with the recent change to Mine Rate!

My Game Activity

In all idle games I follow an established investment strategy that is almost standard for me because it is the result of my past experience in idle games in which I have played and invested.
This strategy is multi-step and has as its main short-term goal to reach the break-even point.

On Terracore I reached the break-even point in 26 play days and transformed Terracore from a play-to-earn to a free-to-play game.

In 62 days of play I made the claim of a total of 667.14 SCRAP whose current market value (Highest Bid) is 104.71 HIVE = $37.27

I used SCRAP tokens based on the percentages you can see in the table below.

I used 58.01% (387 SCRAP) to improve my game statistics.
In the following image you can see my starting point (first day of play) and my current game stats.

With the statistic DEFENSE = 90 I can not receive attacks as long as my stash has 4-5 SCRAP and this means that up to this amount of SCRAP there are better attack targets than me.

For example at the time of writing this post I have 3.72 SCRAP and have not received attacks.

In my real life I have a lot of commitments and I am also the lucky father of a 9-year-old girl and I cannot always make the claim every 4 hours.
When my STASH contains many SCRAPs I become an attack target and so in the coming days I will try to increase my DEFENSE stats even more.

The most fun part of games like Terracore is making and receiving attacks.

I generally attack those who have stats much lower than mine but it's time to also increase the DAMAGE statistic because my balance of attacks suffered and attacks made is negative and I need to reverse this by starting to attack those who have better defensive stats than my current attack targets and have more SCRAP in their STASH..

So to recap my future game strategy will be to primarily boost the DEFENSE and DAMAGE statistics with the goal of decreasing the attacks suffered when I fail to make claims for long periods of time, and starting today I will also begin to increase the FAVOUR statistic.

The FAVOUR statistic allows you to increase the CRITICAL CHANCE statistic, which increases the probability of taking more SCRAP from an attack.

But the FAVOUR statistic mainly allows you to explore new planets and only after exploring a new planet can you participate in Boss Fights which are another interesting game option of Terracore.

To explore the planet OCEANIA it is necessary to burn 1000 SCRAP and I am still at 1/1000 but even if it takes time I will reach this game goal too!

My Investment Strategy and my Financial Evaluation after 62 Days of Play

In all idle games, I try to reach the break-even point as quickly as possible and then generally reinvest 50% of the rewards back into the game but this is a basic investment strategy that I change and adjust based on the two elements that I consider most important in idle games:

• the number of players
• the value of game tokens.

On Terracore the number of players is increasing as you can see from the useful stats at https://terracorehub.com/stats

The value of SCRAP tokens has increased in value since the last time I monitored its value: 19 days ago (May 5, 2023).

In the table below you can see the difference in value of SCRAP tokens (in HIVE and dollars) over the time interval: May 5, 2023 - May 24, 2023.

In a 19-day time frame, the SCRAP token has gained value against the dollar and against HIVE as well:

• HIVE: -13.17% compared to the dollar value it had 19 days ago
• SCRAP: +11.34% compared to the dollar value (Highest Bid Value) it had 19 days ago
• SCRAP: +2.47% compared to the dollar value (Lowest Ask Value) it had 19 days ago

Based on the current conditions (number of players increasing and SCRAP token value increasing) I can change my basic strategy and allocate more of the rewards to improving game statistics.
As long as conditions are as positive as they are today I will sell only a small portion of SCRAP tokens, 20% instead of 50%, to progress faster in the game.

From the financial point of view I am always very happy that I chose to play and invest on Terracore because the financial results I have achieved in 62 days are really good.

In the table below you can see the amount of SCRAP tokens I have sold so far and the profit I have made.

To start playing I incurred a registration cost of 20 HIVE.

In 62 days of play I obtained the following financial results:

• Profit: +11.41 SWAP.HIVE = $4.76
• ROI: +57.07%

Ho iniziato a giocare su Terracore il 23 marzo 2023 e oggi 24 maggio 2023 sono passati 62 giorni.
Oggi ritorno a condividere la mia esperienza di gioco e la mia strategia di investimento su questo gioco che è un interessante e divertente idle game sviluppato sulla blockchain di Hive.

La recente modifica alla statistica Engineering ha avuto un immediato effetto positivo sul mio Mine Rate.

Prima della recente modifica la mia statistica Engineering = 7 mi garantiva:

• un guadagno di 0.00017716 SCRAP per secondo
• un guadagno di 0.63776 SCRAP per ora
• un guadagno di 15.30629 SCRAP al giorno.

Adesso la stessa statistica Engineering = 7 mi garantisce:

• un guadagno di 0.0003703704 SCRAP per secondo
• un guadagno di 1.33333 SCRAP per ora
• un guadagno di 32 SCRAP al giorno.

Il mio guadagno di SCRAP per secondo è più che raddoppiato con la recente modifica al Mine Rate!

My Game Activity

In tutti gli idle games seguo una strategia di investimento consolidata e quasi standard per me perchè frutto della mia esperienza passata negli idle games in cui ho giocato e ho investito.
Questa strategia si basa su più fasi e ha come principale obiettivo di breve termine di raggiungere il punto di pareggio.

Su Terracore ho raggiunto il punto di pareggio in 26 giorni di gioco e ho trasformato Terracore da un play to earn a un free-to-play game.

In 62 giorni di gioco ho fatto il claim di un totale di 667.14 SCRAP il cui valore di mercato attuale (Highest Bid) è di 104.71 HIVE = 37.27$

Ho utilizzato i token SCRAP in base alle percentuali che puoi vedere nella tabella seguente.

Ho utilizzato il 58.01% (387 SCRAP) per migliorare le mie statistiche di gioco.
Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere il mio punto di partenza (primo giorno di gioco) e le mie statistiche di gioco attuali.

Con la statistica DEFENSE = 90 riesco a non ricevere attacchi fin quando il mio stash ha 4-5 SCRAP e questo vuol dire che fino a questo quantitativo di SCRAP ci sono obiettivi di attacco migliori di me.

Ad esempio nel momento in cui scrivo questo post ho 3.72 SCRAP e non ho ricevuto attacchi.

Nella mia vita reale ho molti impegni e sono anche il fortunato padre di una bimba di 9 anni e non sempre riesco a fare il claim ogni 4 ore.
Quando il mio STASH contiene molti SCRAP divento un obiettivo di attacco e quindi nei prossimi giorni cercherò di aumentare ancora di più la mia statistiche DEFENSE.

La parte più divertente dei giochi come Terracore è effettuare e ricevere gli attacchi.

In genere attacco chi ha statistiche molto inferiori alle mie ma è arrivato il momento di aumentare anche la statistica DAMAGE perchè il mio bilancio degli attacchi subiti e attacchi effettuati è negativo e devo invertire questa tendenza iniziando ad attaccare chi ha statistiche difensive migliori dei miei obiettivi di attacco attuali e ha più SCRAP nel proprio STASH..

Quindi ricapitolando la mia futura strategia di gioco sarà di potenziare principalmente le statistiche DEFENSE e DAMAGE con l'obiettivo di diminuire gli attacchi subiti quando non riesco a fare i claims in periodi di tempo lunghi e a partire da oggi inizierò ad aumentare anche la statistica FAVOUR.

La statistica FAVOUR permette di aumentare la statistica CRITICAL CHANCE che aumenta la probabilità di prendere più SCRAP da un attacco.

Ma la statistica FAVOUR permette soprattutto di esplorare i nuovi pianeti e solo dopo aver esplorato un nuovo pianeta è possibile partecipare alle Boss Fights che sono un'altra interessante opzione di gioco di Terracore.

Per esplorare il pianeta OCEANIA è necessario bruciare 1000 SCRAP e io sono ancora a 1/1000 ma anche se ci vorrà tempo raggiungerò anche questo obiettivo di gioco!

My Investment Strategy and my Financial Evaluation after 62 Days of Play

In tutti gli idle games cerco di raggiungere il punto di pareggio nel più breve tempo possibile e poi generalmente reinvesto nel gioco il 50% delle ricompense ma questa è una strategia di investimento di base che cambio e adatto in base ai due elementi che considero di maggior importanza negli idle games:

• il numero dei giocatori
• il valore dei token SCRAP

Il numero dei giocatori è in aumento come puoi vedere dalle utili stats su https://terracorehub.com/stats

Il valore dei token SCRAP ha registrato un aumento di valore rispetto all'ultima volta che ho monitorato il suo valore: 19 giorni fa (5 maggio 2023).

Nella tabella seguente puoi vedere la differenza di valore dei token SCRAP (in HIVE e in dollari) nell'intervallo di tempo: 5 maggio 2023 - 24 maggio 2023.

In un intervallo di tempo di 19 giorni il token SCRAP ha acquistato valore rispetto al dollaro e rispetto anche ad HIVE:

• HIVE: -13.17% rispetto al valore in dollari che aveva 19 giorni fa
• SCRAP: +11.34% rispetto al valore in dollari (Highest Bid Value) che aveva 19 giorni fa
• SCRAP: +2.47% rispetto al valore in dollari (Lowest Ask Value) che aveva 19 giorni fa

In base alle condizioni attuali (numero dei giocatori in aumento e valore dei token SCRAP in aumento) posso modificare la mia strategia di base e destinare una maggiore quantità di ricompense al miglioramento delle statistiche di gioco.
Fin quando le condizioni saranno positive come oggi venderò solo una piccola parte dei token SCRAP, il 20% invece del 50%, per progredire più velocemente nel gioco.

Dal punto di vista finanziario sono sempre molto contento di aver scelto di giocare e di investire su Terracore perchè i risultati finanziari che ho ottenuto in 62 giorni sono davvero ottimi.

Nella tabella seguente puoi vedere il quantitativo di token SCRAP che ho venduto fino ad ora e il guadagno che ho ottenuto.

Per iniziare a giocare ho sostenuto un costo di iscrizione di 20 HIVE.

In 62 giorni di gioco ho ottenuto i seguenti risultati finanziari:

• Profitto: +11.41 SWAP.HIVE = 4.76$
• ROI: +57.07%
