The number of games built and developed on the Hive blockchain is constantly increasing and consequently the list of games I play or have decided to invest in is also getting longer.
Blockchain-based games are one of my passions and playing/investing in all or most Hive-based games is a goal of mine.

A few days ago I went to https://nftm.art/ to consider buying some NFTs of the Hashkings game and noticed the presence of a collection of NFTs of a new game I had never seen before: Stardom Play.

I immediately went to the game's main site and read the FAQ.

After logging in with Hive Keychain and clicking on PLAYGAME+ -> Zone I immediately noticed a great similarity to another game that I know very well because I have been a player since August 2020: Rising Star.

In fact Stardom is almost identical to Rising Star with some minor differences.

Rising Star's theme is music while Stardom's theme is movies.

On Stardom the player must impersonate the role of a cinematographic actor and must advance through the game trying to become a movie star.

The creators of Stardom did not have much imagination or originality in creating this game but they have created what is the second free-to-play game on the Hive blockchain after Rising Star which was the first.

Stardom is an idle game that requires no obligatory initial investment and the only requirements to start playing are:

• you must have a Hive account
• you must have installed Hive Keychain to perform the login.

Those who want to advance faster in the game and complete missions after the first one can purchase card packs from the NFTs section of Stardom Play site or can purchase single cards from https://nftm.art/buy/stardom

The game mechanism is very simple.
Each player starts from game level 1 with:

• 10 Fans
• 10 Ego
• 100% energy

The Ego is a negative element that reduces game rewards but only comes into play when an amount of fans >= 1000 is exceeded.

Those who choose the free-to-play mode will only ever be able to play the first mission, which can be started by clicking on the "clapperboard" symbol

The first mission is called Casting Call and has as requirements:

• 10 Fans
• 15% energy

The prize of the first mission is a random amount of STARDOM tokens within the range of: 1-15 STARDOM.

STARDOM tokens are second-level tokens on Hive's blockchain and can be sold, purchased and transferred from one of Hive's second-level token DEXs such as Hive Engine, TribalDex and LeoDex.

Today, February 13, 2023 1 STARDOM has a value of:

• 0.00048000 SWAP.HIVE = $0.000196 (Lowest Ask)
• 0.00047003 SWAP.HIVE = 0.000192$ (Highest Bid)

Based on the current value of the HIVE and STARDOM tokens (Highest Bid), I created a table in which I calculated for each type of mission:

• the average gain in STARDOM per mission completed
• the number of missions that can be completed with 100% energy
• the average gain achievable using 100% energy expressed in terms of STARDOM, SWAP.HIVE and $.

Note: The calculations in my table are estimated values because they are based on the current value of HIVE and STARDOM tokens and may change as market values change.

I also calculated the average maximum daily gain achievable by having unlimited energy using Boosters that recharge energy by 100% each time they are used (current cost 5 HIVE per booster).

I also calculated the number of clicks needed to achieve a specific gain and the number of Boosters needed.

In calculating the number of Boosters Needed, I subtracted an energy value of 200% because in a 16-hour time frame (24 hours - 8 hours of sleep) the energy bar will recharge free of charge and with the passage of time twice.

Honestly, I am not the 192 clicks per day type of player but more of an 8-5 clicks per day type of player and for this reason my game goal will be to fulfill the requirements to perform the sixth and seventh quests which even though they will provide me with less income will require the purchase of fewer Boosters and fewer clicks per day ;)

My Investment Strategy

Although STARDOM Play is a game in a development stage and can be played in madality free to play I have decided to make an initial investment.

My investment strategy will be as follows:

• I will immediately buy** 3 Booster Burgers** from https://nftm.art/buy/stardom to have +300% energy per day in addition to the +200% I will get for free from the automatic recharge of my energy bar.
• I will buy selected cards from the market to increase the number of fans as I reach the requirement in EXP to perform a mission.

At https://nftm.art/buy/stardom you can purchase NFTs from Stardom Play using SWAP.HIVE tokens or STARDOM tokens as the method of payment.

To purchase the 3 Hamburgher Boosters, I chose to use STARDOM tokens because it is currently the most convenient method of purchase.

I spent a total of 29999 STARDOM = 14.39 SWAP.HIVE

To increase my number of fans, I purchased a TR6 Grip Wan and spent 7.1 SWAP.HIVE = 0.021 SWAP.HIVE per Fan.

Final Considerations

Today, February 13, begins my investment in Stardom Play, and from today I will try my hardest to advance in the game faster than in my early days of play.

Stardom Play is a playable game but it is still under development and some features have not yet been implemented.

For example the functionality of withdrawing STARDOM tokens from the in-game Wallet has not yet been implemented.

The withdrawal of in-game rewards is currently done automatically by the Stardom Play team at time intervals.

The previous sending of tokens to players was done on February 11, 2023, and I received 200 STARDOM on my wallet.

Free to play or Play to Earn?

If you decide to play on Stardom Play in the Free to play mode, you have no contraindications because you don't invest anything.

If you decide to do as I do and invest in buying NFTs you should do so only after you have made your own personal assessments.

I am not a financial advisor and investing in a blockchain-based game always has a risk factor that you must always evaluate personally.

How long will it take for my investment to be covered by the value of the rewards in STARDOM tokens derived from my gaming activity?

STARDOM: Un nuovo gioco Free To Play! Le mie prime impressioni e la mia strategia di investimento iniziale

Il numero dei giochi costruiti e sviluppati sulla blockchain di Hive è in continuo aumento e di conseguenza anche la lista dei giochi in cui gioco o ho deciso di investire si sta allungando.
I giochi basati su blockchain sono una delle mie passioni e giocare/investire su tutti o quasi i giochi Hive-based è un mio obiettivo.

Qualche giorno fa sono andato su https://nftm.art/ per valutare l'acquisto di alcuni NFTs del gioco di Hashkings e ho notato la presenza di una collezione di NFT di un nuovo gioco che non avevo mai visto prima: Stardom Play.

Sono andato subito a vedere il sito principale del gioco e ho letto le FAQ.

Dopo aver fatto il login con Hive Keychain e dopo aver cliccato su PLAYGAME+ -> Zone ho subito notato una grande somiglianza con un'altro gioco che conosco molto bene perchè sono iscritto da agosto 2020: Rising Star.

In effetti Stardom è quasi identico a Rising Star con alcune piccole differenze.

Il tema di Rising Star è la musica mentre il tema di Stardom è il cinema.

Su Stardom il giocatore deve impersonare il ruolo di un attore cinematocrafico e deve avanzare nel gioco cercando di diventare una star del cineme.

I creatori di Stardom non hanno avuto molta fantasia e originalità nel creare questo gioco ma hanno comunque creato quello che è il secondo gioco free to play sulla blockchain di Hive dopo Rising Star che è stato il primo.

Stardom è un idle game che non richiede nessun investimento iniziale obbligatorio e gli unici requisiti per iniziare a giocare sono:

• devi avere un account Hive
• devi aver installato Hive Keychain per effettuare il login

Chi vuole avanzare più velocemente nel gioco e svolgere le missioni oltre alla prima può acquistare i pacchi di carte dalla sezione NFTs di Stardom Play oppure può acquistare singole carte da https://nftm.art/buy/stardom

Il meccanismo di gioco è molto semplice.
Ogni giocatore parte dal livello di gioco 1 con:

• 10 Fans
• 10 Ego
• 100% di energia

L'Ego è un elemento negativo che riduce le ricompense di gioco ma entra in gioco solo quando si supera un quantitativo di fan >= 1000.

Chi sceglie la modalità free to play potrà svolgere sempre e soltanto la prima missione che è avviabile cliccando sul simbolo del "Ciak"

La prima missione si chiama Casting Call e ha come requisiti:

• 10 Fans
• 15% di energia

Il premio della prima missione è un quantitativo di token STARDOM casuale compreso nel range di valori: 1-15 STARDOM.

I token STARDOM sono token di secondo livello della blockchain di Hive e possono essere venduti, acquistati e trasferiti da uno dei DEX dei token di secondo livello di Hive come ad esempio Hive Engine, TribalDex e LeoDex.

Oggi 13 febbraio 2023 1 STARDOM ha un valore di:

• 0.00048000 SWAP.HIVE = 0.000196$ (Lowest Ask)
• 0.00047003 SWAP.HIVE = 0.000192$ (Highest Bid)

In base al valore attuale dei token HIVE e STARDOM (Highest Bid) ho creato una tabella in cui ho calcolato per ogni tipologia di missione:

• il guadagno medio in STARDOM per missione completata
• il numero di missioni completabili con 100% di energia
• il guadagno medio ottenibile utilizzando il 100% di energia espresso in termini di STARDOM, SWAP.HIVE e $.

Nota: I calcoli nella mia tabella sono valori stimati perchè si basano sul valore attuale dei token HIVE e STARDOM e potrebbero variare al variare dei valori di mercato.

Ho calcolato anche il guadagno massimo medio giornaliero ottenibile avendo a disposizione un'energia illimitata usando i Boosters che ricaricano l'energia del 100% ogni volta che vengono utilizzati (costo attuale 5 HIVE per booster).

Ho calcolato anche il numero di click necessari per ottenere un determinato guadagno e il numero di Boosters necessari.

Nel calcolo del numero dei Booster Necessari ho sottratto un valore di energia del 200% perchè in un arco di tempo di 16 ore (24 ore - 8 ore di sonno) la barra dell'energia si ricaricherà in modo gratuito e con il passare del tempo per due volte.

Sinceramente non sono il tipo da 192 click al giorno ma più da 8-5 click al giorno e per questo motivo il mio obiettivo di gioco sarà soddisfare i requisiti per svolgere la sesta e la settima missione che anche se mi garantiranno un guadagno minore richiederanno l'acquisto di un numero inferiore di Boosters e un numero inferiore di click al giorno ;)

My Investment Strategy

Anche se STARDOM Play è un gioco in una fase di sviluppo e può essere giocato in madalità free to play ho deciso di fare un investimento iniziale.

La mia strategia di investimento sarà la seguente:

• acquisterò subito** 3 Booster Hamburger** da https://nftm.art/buy/stardom per avere a disposizione +300% di energia al giorno oltre al +200% che otterrò in modo gratuito dalla ricarica automatica della barra della mia energia.
• acquisterò carte selezionate dal mercato per aumentare il numero di fans mano a mano che raggiungero il requisito in EXP per svolgere una missione.

Su https://nftm.art/buy/stardom è possibile acquistare gli NFTs di Stardom Play utilizzando come metodo di pagamento i token SWAP.HIVE o i token STARDOM.

Per acquistare i 3 Boosters Hamburgher ho scelto di utilizzare i token STARDOM perchè è al momento il metodo di acquisto più conveniente.

Ho speso in totale 29999 STARDOM = 14.39 SWAP.HIVE

Per aumentare il mio numero di fans ho acquistato un TR6 Grip Wan e ho speso 7.1 SWAP.HIVE = 0.021 SWAP.HIVE per Fan.

Considerazioni Finali

Oggi 13 febbraio inizia il mio investimento su Stardom Play e da oggi mi impegnerò ad avanzare nel gioco in modo più veloce rispetto ai miei primi giorni di gioco.

Stardom Play è un gioco giocabile ma è ancora in fase di sviluppo e alcune funzionalità non sono state ancora implementate.

Ad esempio la funzionalità di prelievo dei token STARDOM dall'in-game Wallet non è stata ancora implementata.

Il prelievo delle ricompense di gioco viene attualmente fatto in automatico dal team di Stardom Play ad intervalli di tempo.

Il precedente invio di tokens ai giocatori è stato fatto il giorno 11 febbraio 2023 e io ho ricevuto 200 STARDOM sul mio wallet.

Free to play o Play to Earn?

Se decidi di giocare su Stardom Play nella modalità Free to play non hai nessuna controindicazione perchè non investi nulla.

Se decidi di fare come me e investire nell'acquisto di NFTs devi farlo solo dopo aver fatto le tue personali valutazioni.

Io non sono un consulente finanziario e investire in un gioco basato su blockchain ha sempre un fattore di rischio che devi sempre valutare personalmente.

Quanto tempo occorrerà al mio investimento per essere coperto dal valore delle ricompense in STARDOM token?
