Yesterday, November 28, 2023 Land Phase 1.5 started, adding a new level of gameplay to the Splinterlands ecosystem.

With the start of lands phase 1.5 the resource production phase begins.

Resource production adds a new use case to DEC tokens and cards because:

• each land plots has 5 slots in which you can stack 5 cards.
• a card staked in a land plot slot becomes a worker card
• each worker card to contribute to resource production needs a certain amount of staked DEC tokens which depends on the level of the card (max 10K staked DEC per worker card).

I have 3 land plots in the Great Lowlands -> 120 Bredaine region.

In this post I show all the steps I performed to activate production in one of my land plots to be of help to those who may have some initial difficulties.

To activate production in my land plots I followed the useful guide: Land Phase 1.5: User Guide which you can access directly from the Splinterlands site by following the path: LAND -> GUIDES as indicated by the arrows in the following image.

The construction of my first Worksite

- Step by step -

Step 1:

• I performed the login on https://splinterlands.com/
• then I clicked on LAND -> PRODUCTION

Step 2:

• I selected the region where my plots are located by clicking on the symbol indicated by the arrow in the next image

Step 3:

I followed the instructions in the guide and before selecting a single plot of mine I put in stakind some of my DEC tokens.

Step 4:

• Then I choose/select a single plot of mine.

Step 5:

• On the next screen I clicked on MANAGE.

Step 6:

If you have TOTEMS and have not done CLAIM this is the time to do CLAIM.
I have 2 Common Totems and made the claim from https://next.splinterlands.com/land/redeem-totem and after entering 2 in the SELECT QUANTITY field I clicked REDEEM.

Step 7:

• Then I equipped my land plot with a Power Core and added 1 totem.

If, like me in the past, you have purchased Survey Boosts you already have everything you need to start production in your plot and therefore already have 1 Power Core for your plot.

If you have 1 RUNI you can use it instead of the Power Core.
If you use the combination 1 RUNI + 1 Power Core you can use 6 worker cards instead of 5.

If you do not have RUNIs and Power Core you need to click on BUY and buy 1 Power Core.

Buying 1 Power Core has a cost = 5000 DEC.

Step 8:

• Then I chose and added my 5 worker cards.

When you click on ADD WORKER it opens a list with all your cards.

Choose your worker cards carefully especially if you have more than 1 land plot because each plot based on its land has bonuses and production maluses related to the element of the cards.

Fortunately, you can easily view bonuses and maluses thanks to the information in the ADJ column.

For my plot I chose the 5 cards you can see in the following image.
I excluded the cards from the Chaos Legion set from my choice because I use them in ranked battles.

Then I clicked on SAVE CHANGES and on the next screen I clicked on CONFIRM

Step 9: BUILD WORKSITE.

The next step is choose which Worksite to build.

Before clicking BUILD I added more DEC staked as recommended in the Splinterlands guide.

In fact, my worksite will need 16432 DEC staked to have maximum production and I had initially put only 10000 DEC staked.

As my first Worksite I chose Grain Farm because each harvest will have a cost in grain and I would like my plots to be self-sufficient.

My first Worksite takes 7 days and almost 4 hours to build

I have purchased 3 Survery Boosts in the past and have 450 Time Crystal and decided to use 150 Time Crystal to immediately build my first Worksite.

By the way using Time Crystal I do not have to pay the cost in Grain for construction.

I completed the construction by clicking BUILD and made my Grain Farm operational.
My Grain Farm will produce 225.96 Grain per hour.

Each time I perform a Harvest I will incur a cost in Grain.

I have 45000 Grain in my inventory thanks to the purchase of the 3 Survery Boosts.

If you do not have Grain you have to purchase it from the BUY GRAIN section.

The cost is 1 GRAIN = 1 DEC.

I have completed all the operations to make my first land plot productive.
Now I just have to wait about 45 minutes to make my first HARVEST.

For my second plot I chose the Shard Mine as my workersite because accumulating SPS tokens is one of my main goals on Splinterlands.

In less than two minutes, I accumulated 0.019 SPS tokens.

My Shard Mine will allow me to earn 0.664 SPS per hour.

From the PRODUCTION OVERVIEW section I can view all the important information about my plots.

Final Considerations

Building my first Worksite was a simple task that took me very little time thanks to the guides written by Splinterlands which are very helpful and detailed.

If you have land plots you may find the spreadsheet dedicated to lands made by @flauwy helpful. You can find the link to this spreadsheet in the pinned messages of the land-expansion channel of the discord server of Splinterlands.

With the start of Splinterlands Phase 1.5, the Splinterlands ecosystem has become bigger because it has added a new game mode and a new investment mode and also added a new use case to DEC tokens and cards.

I am very curious to see what effect the release of phase 1.5 of lands will have on the value of Splinterlands assets.

In this post I shared my personal experience in activating resource production in my land plots. In my next post I will make a financial assessment related to my early days as a land plots owner.

I continue to set growth goals on Splinterlands, hope that bots will be eliminated completely from Splinterlands, continue to increase the battle strength of my collection of usable cards in the Modern Format where there are no bots, and look forward with much excitement to the start of the general sale of the Rebellion set and the fully playable versions of Genesis League Soccer and Soulkeep that will expand the Splinterlands ecosystem

La fase 1.5 delle Lands è iniziata!

Ieri 28 novembre 2023 è iniziata la Land Phase 1.5 che aggiunge un nuovo livello di gioco all'ecosistema di Splinterlands.

Con l'inizio della fase 1.5 delle lands inizia la fase di produzione delle risorse.

La produzione delle risorse aggiunge un nuovo caso d'uso ai token DEC e alle carte di Splinterlands perchè:

• ogni land plots ha 5 slot in cui è possibile mettere in staking 5 carte di Splinterlands
• una carta messa in staking in uno slot di un land plot diventa una worker card
• ogni worker card per contribuire alla produzione di risorse ha bisogno di un certo quantitativo di token DEC staked che dipende dal livello della carta (max 10K DEC staked per worker card).

Io ho 3 land plots nella regione Great Lowlands -> 120 Bredaine

In questo post mostro tutti i passaggi che ho effettuato per attivare la produzione in un mio land plot per essere di aiuto a chi può avere qualche difficoltà iniziale.

Per attivare la produzione nei miei land plots ho seguito l'utile guida: Land Phase 1.5: User Guide a cui puoi accedere direttamente dal sito di Splinterlands seguendo il percorso: LAND -> GUIDES come indicato dalle frecce nell'immagine seguente.

La costruzione del mio primo Worksite

- Passo dopo passo -

Passo 1:

• ho effettuato il login su https://splinterlands.com/
• poi ho cliccato su LAND -> PRODUCTION

Passo 2:

• ho selezionato la regione in cui si trovano i miei plots cliccando sul simbolo indicato dalla freccia nell'immagine seguente

Passo 3:

Ho seguito le indicazioni della guida e prima di selezionare un mio singolo plot ho messo in stakind dei miei token DEC nella regione in cui si trovano i miei plots.

Nota: il totale dei token DEC messi in staking nella regione influenzeranno la produzione di tutta la regione. Lo staking e l'unstaking da questa sezione è immediato e non richiede un tempo di unstaking.

Passo 4:

• Poi ho scelto/selezionato un mio singolo plot.

Passo 5:

• nella schermata successiva ho cliccato su MANAGE

Passo 6:

Se hai dei TOTEMS e non hai fatto il CLAIM è questo il momento di fare il CLAIM.
Io ho 2 Common Totem e ho fatto il claim da https://next.splinterlands.com/land/redeem-totem e dopo aver inserito 2 nel campo SELECT QUANTITY ho cliccato su REDEEM.

Passo 7:

• Poi ho equipaggiato il mio land plot con un Power Core e ho aggiunto 1 totem.

Se come me in passato hai acquistato i Survey Boosts hai già tutto quello che ti serve per iniziare la produzione nel tuo plot e quindi hai già 1 Power Core per il tuo plot.

Se hai 1 RUNI puoi utilizzarlo al posto del Power Core.
Se utilizzi la combinazione 1 RUNI + 1 Power Core potrai utilizzare 6 worker cards invece di 5.

Se non hai Runi e Power Core devi cliccare su BUY e acquistare 1 Power Core.

Acquistare 1 Power Core ha un costo = 5000 DEC.

Passo 8:

• poi ho scelto e aggiunto le miei 5 worker cards

Quando clicchi su ADD WORKER si apre un elenco con tutte le tue carte.

Scegli con attenzione le tue worker cards soprattutto se hai più di 1 land plot perchè ogni plot in base al suo terreno ha dei bonus e dei malus di produzione collegati all'elemento delle carte.

Fortunatamente puoi visualizzare facilmente i bonus e i malus grazie alle informazioni presenti nella colonna ADJ.

Per il mio plot ho scelto le 5 carte che puoi vedere nell'immagine seguente.
Ho escluso dalla mia scelta le carte del set Chaos Legion perchè le utilizzo nelle ranked battles.

Poi ho cliccato su SAVE CHANGES e nella schermata successiva ho cliccato su CONFIRM

Passo 9: BUILD WORKSITE

Il passo successivo è scegliere quale Worksite costruire.

Prima di cliccare su BUILD e costruire ho aggiunto altri DEC staked come consigliato nella guida di Splinterlands.

Infatti il mio worker site avrà bisogno di 16432 DEC staked per avere la massima produzione e io avevo messo inizialmente solo 10000 DEC staked.

Come primo Worksite ho scelto il Grain Farm perchè ogni harvest avrà un costo in grano e mi piacerebbe che i miei plots siano autosufficienti.

Il mio primo Worksite necessita 7 giorni e quasi 4 ore per essere costruito

Io avendo acquistato 3 Survery Boosts ho 450 Time Crystal e ho deciso di utilizzare 150 Time Crystal per costruire immediatamente il mio primo Worksite.

Tra l'altro utilizzando i Time Crystal non devo sostenere il costo in Grain per la costruzione.

Ho completato la costruzione cliccando su BUILD e ho reso la mia Grain Farm operativa.
La mia Grain Farm produrrà 225.96 Grain all'ora

Per effettuare l'Harvers dovrò sostenere un costo in Grain.

Io ho 45000 Grain nel mio inventario grazie all'acquisto dei 3 Survery Boost.

Se non hai grano devi acquistarlo dalla sezione BUY GRAIN

Il costo è 1 GRAIN = 1 DEC

Ho completato tutte le operazioni per rendere produttivo il mio primo land plot.
Adesso devo solo aspettare circa 45 miniti per effettuare il mio primo HARVEST.

Per il mio secondo plot ho scelto come workersite il Shard Mine perchè accumulare token SPS è uno dei miei obiettivi principali su Splinterlands.

In meno di due minuti ho accumulato 0.019 SPS.

Il mio Shard Mine mi permetterà di guadagnare 0.664 SPS all'ora.

Dalla sezione PRODUCTION OVERVIEW posso visualizzare tutte le informazioni importanti relative ai miei plots.

Considerazioni Finali

Costruire i miei primi Worker Sites è stata un'operazione semplice che mi ha richiesto poco tempo grazie alle guide scritte da Splinterlands che sono molto utili e dettagliate.

Con l'inizio della fase 1.5 delle lands l'ecosistema di Splinterlands è diventato più grande perchè ha aggiunto una nuova modalità di gioco e una nuova modalità di investimento e ha aggiunto anche un nuovo caso d'uso ai token DEC e alle carte.

Sono molto curioso di vedere quali saranno gli effetti del rilascio della fase 1.5 delle lands sul valore degli assets di Splinterlands.

In questo post ho condiviso la mia personale esperienza nell'attivare la produzione di risorse nei miei land plots. Nel mio prossimo post farò una valutazione di natura finanziaria relativa ai miei primi giorni da Land plots owner.

Io continuo a pormi obiettivi di crescita su Splinterlands, spero che i bots siano eliminati completamente da Splinterlands, continuo ad aumentare la forza in battaglia della mia collezione di carte utilizzabile nel Modern Format dove non ci sono i bots e aspetto con molta eccitazione le versioni completamente giocabili di Genesis League Soccer e Soulkeep che espanderanno l'ecosistema di Splinterlands
