On April 4, 2023 the phase 1.0 of The Secret of Praetoria, the land expansion of Splinterlands, began.

The time has come for me to perform all the steps to discover the land type and rarity of the plots I purchased some time ago.

I have 3 PLOTS and today I will share all the operations I have performed on my three PLOTS:

• Claim
• Survey
• Purchase of 3 Starter Packages for each of my plots.

By the way doing the Survey operation sooner rather than later is important for those like me who have accumulation goals related to SPS tokens because @jarvie's proposal to distribute the SPS token rewards allocated to lands only to those who have completed the survey operation passed with 68% of the votes in favor and I also voted for it.

Ok let's get started, I am really excited and curious to discover the type and rarity of my 3 plots.
With only three plots I have little chance of finding a legendary land plot because the probability per single land plot is 1% but I hope luck will be my friend and I hope to find at least one plot of higher rarity than the common type.

CLAIM DEEDS: Step by Step Guide

The first operation I performed today was to do the Claim of my Land Deeds.

The Claim procedure is very simple.

STEP 1:

From the home page of Splinterlands:
- 1: I clicked on the LAND symbol (arrow number 1 in the image below).
- 2: then I clicked on CLAIM DEEDS (arrow number 2 in the image below)

STEP 2:

On the next screen:
- 1: I selected Plot Tokens in the SELECT TOKEN TYPE field.
The other possible choices are Track Tokens and Region Tokens.
- 2: Then I entered the value 3 in the SELECT QUANTITY field.
- 3: Then I clicked REDEEM.
- 4: Then I clicked Confirm in the Hive Keychain window.

Deeds Registered and Claim completed!

SURVEY: Step-by-Step Guide

I decided to do the Survey operation at the same time for all three of my Land Deeds.
Note: If you have land plots in different regions you need to follow the steps in the guide published by Splinterlands at the following address: How to Survey Land Within Different Regions

STEP 1:

- 1: I clicked on the LAND symbol (arrow number 1 next image).
- 2: then I clicked on OWNED (arrow number 2 next image)
- 3: then I clicked on the symbol indicated by arrow number 3 in the following image

STEP 2:

On the next screen I clicked on VIEW PLOTS

STEP 3:

On the next screen:
- 1: I clicked on SELECT ALL.
- 2: Then I clicked on SURVEY.

STEP 4:

On the next screen you can choose to purchase SURVEY BOOSTS.
I chose to purchase the maximum allowed: 3 Survey Boosts for each of my land deeds and clicked ADD TO ALL for each of the three Survey Boosts that could be purchased.

Important Note: You can only purchase the Survey Boosts before you have completed the Survey operation, so this is the stage where you have to decide whether to purchase them or not.

STEP 5:

On the same screen:
- 1: I chose the payment method for purchasing Survey Boosts between DEC and DEC-B.
- 2: Then I clicked on CONFIRM.
- 3: Then I clicked on Confirm in the Hive KeyChain window.

In my previous post I had recommended the purchase of DEC-Bs to Land Plots owners who were planning to purchase starter packages because using DEC-Bs instead of DECs would save money on the purchase of boosts.

STEP 6:

On the next screen I clicked on REVEAL ALL to find out the characteristics of my plots.

Final Considerations

In the following image you can see the type of plot I received.

I was not lucky because I received 3 plots of common rarity but I am still happy that phase 1 of The Secret of Praetorian has started and I am still very happy to have 3 land plots with 3 Survery Boosts for each of my plots.

Now that I know the land type of my land plots I can start thinking about what cards that I don't use in battle I can upgrade and then use them in my plots or I can start evaluating what cards I could buy to be ready when phase 1.5 starts.

In phase 1.5 of The Secret of Praetorian, cards will acquire a new use case because in each plot it will be possible to staking 5 cards.

The type of cards staked in plots (rarity and set) will be an important element in the production of plots.

Also, not all cards will be appropriate for the terrain type of my plots because depending on the terrain type of a plot, cards of a specific element will bring a bonus or a penalty.

Splinterlands LAND 1.0: Claim, Survey and Buy of Starter Packages: Step by Step Gguides + Considerations

Il 4 aprile 2023 è iniziata la fase 1.0 di The Secret of Praetoria, l'espansione land di Splinterlands.

E' arrivato il momento per me di effettuare tutte le operazioni per scoprire la tipologia di terreno e la rarità dei plots che ho acquistato tempo fa.

Io ho 3 PLOTS e oggi condividerò tutte le operazioni che ho effettuato sui i miei tre PLOTS:

• Claim
• Survey
• acquisto di 3 Starter Packages per ognuno dei miei plots.

Tra l'altro fare l'operazione di Survey prima possibile è importante per chi come me ha degli obiettivi di accumulo relativi ai token SPS perchè la proposta di @jarvie di distribuire le ricompense in token SPS destinate alle lands solo a chi ha completato l'operazione di survey è passata con il 68% dei voti e anche io ho votato a favore.

Ok iniziamo, sono davvero eccitato e curioso di scoprire il tipo e la rarità dei miei 3 plots.
Con soli tre plots ho poche probabilità di trovare un land plot leggendario perchè la probabilità per singolo land plot è dell'1% ma spero che la fortuna mi sia amica e spero di trovare almeno un plot di rarità superiore al tipo comune.

CLAIM DEEDS: Guida Passo Passo

La prima operazione che ho effettuato oggi è stata quella di fare il Claim dei miei Land Deeds.

La procedura di Claim è molto semplice.

PASSO 1:

Dalla home page di Splinterlands:
- 1: ho cliccato sul simbolo LAND (freccia numero 1 immagine seguente)
- 2: poi ho cliccato su CLAIM DEEDS (freccia numero 2 immagine seguente)

PASSO 2:

Nella schermata successiva:
- 1: ho selezionato Plot Tokens nel campo SELECT TOKEN TYPE.
Le altre scelte possibili Track Tokens e Region Tokens.
- 2: poi ho inserito il valore 3 nel campo SELECT QUANTITY
- 3: Poi ho cliccato su REDEEM.
- 4: Poi ho cliccato su Confirm nella finestra di Hive Keychain

Survey: Guida Passo Passo

Io ho deciso di fare l'operazione di Survey contemporaneamente per tutti e tre i miei Land Deeds.
Nota: Se hai dei land plots in regioni diverse devi seguire i passi della guida pubblicata da Splinterlands al seguente indirizzo: How to Survey Land Within Different Regions

PASSO 1:

- 1: ho cliccato sul simbolo LAND (freccia numero 1 immagine seguente)
- 2: poi ho cliccato su OWNED (freccia numero 2 immagine seguente)
- 3: poi ho cliccato sul simbolo indicato dalla freccia numero 3 nell'immagine seguente

PASSO 2:

Nella schermata successiva ho cliccato su VIEW PLOTS

PASSO 3:

Nella schermata successiva:
- 1: ho cliccato su SELECT ALL
- 2: Poi ho cliccato su SURVEY.

PASSO 4:

Nella schermata successiva è possibile scegliere di acquistare i SURVEY BOOSTS.
Io ho scelto di acquistare il massimo consentito: 3 Survey Boosts per ogni mio land deed e ho cliccato su ADD TO ALL per ognuno dei tre Survey Boosts acquistabili.

Nota Importante: Puoi acquistare i Survey Boosts solo prima di aver completato l'operazione di Survey e quindi è questa la fase in cui devi decidere se acquistarli oppure no.

PASSO 5:

Nella stessa schermata:
- 1: ho scelto il metodo di pagamento per l'acquisto dei Survey Boosts tra DEC e DEC-B
- 2: Poi ho cliccato su CONFIRM.
- 3: Poi ho cliccato su Confirm nella finestra di Hive KeyChain.

Nel mio precedente post avevo consigliato l'acquisto dei DEC-B ai possessori di Land Plots che avevano in programma di acquistare gli starter packages perchè utilizzare i DEC-B invece dei DEC avrebbe permesso di risparmiare sull'acquisto dei boosts.

Oggi non è più possibile acquistare i DEC-B perchè la vendita è Sold Out!

PASSO 6:

Nella schermata successiva ho cliccato su REVEAL ALL per scoprire le caratteristiche dei miei plots.

Considerazioni Finali

Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere il tipo di plot che ho ricevuto.

Non sono stato molto fortunato perchè ho ricevuto 3 plots di rarità comune ma sono comunque contento che la fase 1 di The Secret of Praetorian sia iniziata e sono comunque molto contento di avere 3 land plots con 3 Survery Boosts per ogni mio plots.

Adesso che conosco il tipo di terreno dei miei land plots posso iniziare a pensare a quali carte che non uso in battaglia posso upgradare o posso iniziare a valutare quali carte potrei acquistare per trovarmi pronto quando inierà la fase 1.5.

Nella fase 1.5 di The Secret of Praetorian le carte acquisteranno un nuovo caso d'uso perchè in ogni plot sarà possibile mettere in staking 5 carte.

La tipologia delle carte messe in staking nei plots (rarità e set) sarà un elemento importante per la produzione dei plots.

Inoltre non tutte le carte saranno adatte al tipo di terreno dei miei plots perchè in base alla tipologia del terreno di un plot le carte di uno specifico elemento porteranno un bonus o una penalità.
