I am a Splinterlands player since September 2019 and Splinterlands is my favorite blockchain-based game because:

• I enjoy playing the in-game battles.
• I enjoy improving the battle strength of my card collection by selling and buying cards.

Splinterlands also has a lot of assets (tokens and NFTs) and. besides playing the game, I like to make evaluations and I like to plan possible future investment strategies of mine and in this post I share some of my personal evaluations and I share the strategy I have chosen to follow in the coming days but I want to make it clear that nothing in this post is a financial advice because I am not a financial advisor but I am just a simple hiver who loves to play Splinterlands.

In the coming months there will be lots of exciting news in the Splinterverse as announced in the Splinterlands Town Square October 2nd, 2023!

I like many points in the Key points list in the screenshot above!

The Key points in the above screenshot will in my opinion bring positive effects on some assets of Splinterlands and in particular on the DEC token which will gain new use cases because:

• DEC tokens will be needed to produce resources in the lands when phase 1.5 starts.

• DEC tokens will be the only possible method of payment to purchase packs of cards of the new Rebellion set.

Due to the start of lands phase 1.5 and due to the start of the Rebellion presale DEC tokens may finally reach their peg (this is not a financial advice but just a possibility).

If the DEC token were to reach its peg (1000 DEC = $1) in the future, it would register a increase in value of +34.95%.

The progressive decrease in the supply of DEC tokens could also have a positive effect on the value of SPS tokens because the easiest and most immediate way to obtain DEC tokens directly from the Splinterlands site is to burn SPS tokens, and DEC tokens will be needed for worker cards in the lands, to participate in the Rebellion presale, and will continue to be needed to purchase cards from the marketplace.

In addition, SPS tokens will acquire a new use case when the Splinterlands Tower Defense game is released: Soulkeep.

When the full version of Soulkeep is released, it will be necessary to have a certain amount of staked SPS tokens in order to receive in-game rewards with the same mechanism that is currently active on Splinterlands (SPS boost).

Therefore, the release of Soulkeep may produce an increase in the value of SPS tokens.

What will happen instead to the value of cards from past editions when the Rebellion set will be released?

In order to make assessments of the possible effects of the release of Rebellion cards into the market and into the Splinterlands game, it will be necessary to wait until we know the statistics of the new cards but, if the number of Splinterlands players remains close to the current number, cards from past editions that have a low PP attribute (useful for lands) and that are of little utility in battle should lose a lot of value.

I think Untamed cards will also lose some of their market value because they will lose a use case: they can no longer be used in the Modern Format.

The Modern Format is the only format where:

• there are no bots
• the rewards in SPS tokens per battle won are much higher than in the Wild Format.

In my previous post I explained why in my opinion the new Rebellion set should have been released after the bots were removed from the Wild Format.

I who love to play on Splinterlands and do not want to play against bots, when the Rebellion set will be released, I will not be able to use my untamed cards against real players.
My only option to use my Untamed cards will be to return to the Wild Format and play against bot-farms in the wild format but as I like to make love to my wife instead of a robot in the same way I like to play against real players and I do not like to play against bots.
Instead, bot-farms will be able to continue to use untamed cards and will also be able to purchase them most likely at a lower price than they currently are.

This is a "short-circuit" for me, a disadvantage that affects only real players and I hope that in the near future my beloved Splinterlands will be free of bots completely!

Based on the personal assessments I have shared in this post, my strategy in the immediate future will be as follows:

• I will put up for sale all my Untamed cards that I do not use in battle or rarely use.
  I will get a probably larger amount of DEC tokens from the sale than if I chose to sell my Untamed cards after the release of the Rebellion set.
  In this way I may also have more future buying power to purchase cards useful in battle when and if the DEC token reaches its peg.
• I will focus only on upgrading Chaos Legion cards and Riftwatchers cards that I consider useful in battle to increase the battle strength of my card collection in the Modern Format
• I will purchase DEC tokens using my SWAP.HIVE and liquid HBDs and if in the future the DEC token reaches its peg I will sell the DEC tokens to repurchase SWAP.HIVE in order to increase my Hive Power so as to speed up my path to Orca status on Hive which is my main current goal.
  
• I will try to improve my win rate in Modern Format to increase the amount of SPS tokens in my possession.

Regarding the Rebellion presale I will participate only if the packs for sale will be in adequate number for the current number of players otherwise exactly as I did for the Chaos legion presale I will choose to buy the cards from the Rebellion collection at a later date or I will buy them directly from the market and always at a later stage than the presale.

My strategy and decision not to participate in the Chaos Legion presale proved to be right after the time and I will follow the same metric for the Rebellion presale as well.

I continue to set growth goals on Splinterlands, hope that bots will be eliminated completely from Splinterlands, continue to increase the battle strength of my collection of usable cards in Modern Format where there are no bots, and look forward with much excitement to the start of lands phase 1.5 and the fully playable versions of Genesis League Soccer and Soulkeep that will expand the Splinterlands ecosystem

HIVE ON and Splinterlands ON!

Possibili effetti della fase 1.5 delle Lands, del Set Rebellion e di Soulkeep su DEC, SPS + La Mia Strategia!

Sono un giocatore di Splinterlands dal mese di settembre 2019 e Splinterlands è il mio gioco basato su blockchain preferito perchè:

• mi diverto a giocare le battaglie di gioco
• mi diverto a migliorare la forza in battaglia della mia collezione di carte vendendo e acquistando carte.

Splinterlands ha anche tanti assets (tokens e NFTs) e. oltre a giocare, mi piace fare valutazioni e mi piace pianificare possibili future mie strategie di investimento e in questo post farò alcune mie valutazioni personali e condividerò la strategia che ho scelto di seguire nei prossimi giorni ma ci tengo a precisare che nulla in questo post è un consiglio finanziario perchè io non sono un consulente finanziario ma sono un semplice hiver che ama giocare a Splinterlands.

Nei prossimi mesi ci saranno tante novità interessanti nello Splinterverse come annunciato nello Splinterlands Town Square October 2nd, 2023!

I Key points nello screenshot precedente porteranno secondo me degli effetti positivi su alcuni assets di Splinterlands e in particolare sul token DEC che acquisirà nuovi casi d'uso perchè:

• i token DEC saranno necessari per produrre le risorse nelle lands quando la fase 1.5 inizierà.

• i token DEC saranno l'unico metodo di pagamento possibile per acquistare i pacchi di carte del nuovo set Rebellion.

Per effetto dell'inizio della fase 1.5 delle lands e per effetto dell'inizio della presale Rebellion i token DEC potrebbero raggiungere finalmente il loro peg (non è un consiglio finanziario ma è solo una possibilità).

Se il token DEC dovessee raggiungere in futuro il suo peg (1000 DEC = 1$) registrerebbe un incremento di valore del +34.95%.

La progressiva diminuzione della supply dei token DEC potrebbe produrre anche effetti positivi sul valore dei token SPS perchè il modo più semplice e immediato per ottenere i token DEC direttamente dal sito di Splinterlands è bruciare i token SPS e i token DEC saranno necessari per le worker cards nelle land, per partecipare alla Rebellion presale e continueranno ad essere necessari per acquistare le carte dal mercato.

Inoltre i token SPS acquisiranno un nuovo caso d'uso quando sarà rilasciato il gioco Tower Defense di Splinterlands: Soulkeep.

Quando sarà rilasciata la versione completa di Soulkeep sarà necessario avere un certo quantitativo di token SPS staked per ricevere le ricompense di gioco con lo stesso meccanismo che è attivo attualmente su Splinterlands (SPS boost).

Per questo motivo il rilascio di Soulkeep potrebbe produrre un aumento del valore dei token SPS.

Cosa succederà invece al valore delle carte delle passate edizioni quando il set Rebellion sarà rilasciato?

Per fare valutazioni sui possibili effetti dell'immissione delle carte Rebellion sul mercato e nel gioco di Splinterlands sarà necessario aspettare di conoscere le statistiche delle nuove carte ma, se il numero dei giocatori di Splinterlands rimarrà vicino al numero attuale, le carte delle edizioni passate che hanno un attributo PP basso (utile per le lands) e che sono poco utili in battaglia dovrebbero perdere molto valore.

Penso che anche le carte Untamed perderanno parte del loro valore di mercato perchè perderanno un caso d'uso: non potranno più essere utilizzate nel Modern Format.

Il Modern Format è l'unico formato dove:

• non ci sono bots
• le ricompense in token SPS per battaglia vinta sono molto superiori rispetto al Wild Format.

Nel mio precedente post ho spiegato il motivo per cui secondo me il nuovo set Rebellion sarebbe dovuto essere rilasciato dopo l'eliminazione dei bots dal Wild Format.

Io che amo giocare su Splinterlands e che non voglio giocare contro i bots, quando il set Rebellion sarà rilasciato, non potrò utilizzare le mie carte untamed contro giocatori reali.
La mia unica opzione per utilizzare le mie carte Untamed sarà quella di ritornare nel Wild Format e giocare contro le bot-farms nel wild format ma a me come piace fare l'amore con mia moglie invece di un robot allo stesso modo mi piace giocare contro giocatori reali e non mi piace giocare contro i bots.
Le bot-farms potranno invece continuare ad utilizzare le carte untamed e potranno anche acquistarle con molta probabilità ad un prezzo più basso di quello attuale.

Questo è per me un corto-circuito, uno svantaggio che colpisce solo i giocatori reali e spero che in un futuro vicino il mio amato Splinterlands sia liberato dai bots completamente!

In base alle valutazioni personali che ho condiviso in questo post la mia strategia nell'immediato futuro sarà la seguente:

• metterò in vendita tutte le mie carte Untamed che non uso in battaglia o che uso raramente.
  Dalla vendita otterrò un quantitativo di token DEC probabilmente maggiore rispetto al caso un cui scegliessi di vendere le mie carte Untamed dopo il rilascio del set Rebellion.
  In questo modo potrei anche avere un potere di acquisto futuro maggiore per acquistare carte utili in battaglia quando e se il token DEC raggiungerà il suo peg.
• mi focalizzerò solo sull' upgrade delle carte Chaos Legion e delle carte Riftwatchers che considero utili in battaglia per aumentare la forza in battaglia della mia collezione di carte nel Modern Format
• acquisterò i token DEC utilizzando i miei SWAP.HIVE e i miei HBD liquidi e se in futuro il token DEC raggiungerà il suo peg venderò i token DEC per riacquistare SWAP.HIVE per poter aumentare il mio Hive Power in modo da velocizzare il mio percorso verso lo status di Orca su Hive che è il mio obiettivo principale attuale.
  
• cercherò di migliorare il mio win rate nel Modern Format per aumentare il quantitativo di token SPS in mio possesso.

Per quanto riguarda la presale Rebellion parteciperò solo se i pacchi in vendita saranno in numero adeguato al numero attuale di giocatori altrimenti esattamente come ho fatto per la Presale Chaos legion sceglierò di acquistare le carte della collezione Rebellion in un secondo momento oppure le acquisterò direttamente dal mercato e sempre in una fase successiva alla presale.

La mia strategia e la mia decisione di non partecipare alla presale Chaos Legion si è rivelata a distanza di tempo giusta e seguirò lo stesso metro di valutazione anche per la presale Rebellion.

Io continuo a pormi obiettivi di crescita su Splinterlands, spero che i bots siano eliminati completamente da Splinterlands, continuo ad aumentare la forza in battaglia della mia collezione di carte utilizzabiel nel Modern Format dove non ci sono i bots e aspetto con molta eccitazione l'inizio della fase 1.5 delle lands e le versioni completamente giocabili di Genesis League Soccer e Soulkeep che espanderanno l'ecosistema di Splinterlands
