On Splinterlands, a few hours ago, season 129 ended and season 130 began.
Season 130 is not like any other season because it is the first season in which the new Ranked System is active.

The change that will have the greatest impact on game dynamics will be in my opinion the removal of card level league caps in ranked battles.

Everything should become easier especially for new players because now if you have a maximum level summoner you can use all the maximum level cards he can summon.

For example in the old Ranked System if you had the summoner Tarsa (max level) and the monster card Antoid Platoon (max level) and played in league Silver I you could only use in battle the stats and abilities of Antoid Platon of level = 5

In the new ranked system if you have the Tarsa summoner (max level) you can use all the maximum level fire element and neutral element cards in each league!

But now it is time to pass from theory to practice and in this post I share my first impressions and evaluations after 20 battles played in Modern Format with the new Ranked System.

I started season 130 in the Silver III league of the Modern Format with a rating = 1150.

Today I was very curious to play my first battle with the new ranked system even though when I selected the cards to send into battle I displayed my cards still with the level capped for the Silver league as was the case in the old ranked system.

This was only an initial display problem when selecting cards because in the battle I was able to use Tarsa, Antoid Platton and Scorch Field at maximum level as you can see from the screenshot below.

I solved the problem of incorrectly displaying the level of my cards by doing a simple Hard Refresh of my browser = Ctrl + Shift + R

So if it happens to you too, you know how to do to display the level and abilities of your cards correctly when selecting cards to send into battle ;)

My first battle was a victory.

In the new Ranked System each victory assigns +20 Rating Points and each defeat -20 Rating Points.

Only in the case of multiple consecutive wins can +40 rating points be earned.

Although only after 20 battles played I wanted to make a comparison between my win rate in season 129 (old Ranked System) and my initial win rate in the current season.

In the current season I played 20 battles and achieved 13 wins = win rate -> 65%.

Although only after 20 battles my win rate has improved by +22.47%

My game results immediately had a positive effect because I have many top level cards in my collection.

If I keep this up I should finally be able to leave the Silver league and hopefully return to the Gold+ leagues where I used to play steadily before the release of the Rebellion set and where I have not been able to return to since the release of the Rebellion set.

To test the new Ranked System today I also purchased 24 energy points using VOUCHER tokens (best purchase method based on the current value of DEC tokens and VOUCHER tokens).

I hadn't purchased energy points in a long time but I didn't remember it was possible to purchase them with VOUCHER tokens, and I was happy to discover this news.

Today I purchased 24 energy points and spent 4.8 VOUCHERS.

The ability to buy energy points with VOUCHERS offers a new element of evaluation for me because if I get an average gain in SPS from battles greater than the cost of 1 energy point buying energy points might be worthwhile.

For example, today February 29 to buy 1 energy point when I was in the Silver III league** I spent = 0.2 VOUCHER = 0.023 HIVE = $0.00851

In my 13 victories out of 20 battles played I earned rewards in SPS in a range: min 0.703 SPS - max 1.01 SPS.

Today, February 29, 2024 0.703 SPS = 0.051 HIVE

If I have spent 0.023 HIVE to buy 1 energy point and I have won at least 0.703 SPS = 0.051 HIVE from a battle victory, it means that if I have a win rate above 46% I get a profit!

So dear reader based on your win rate and the league you play in you can calculate whether buying energy points with VOUCHERS can bring you profit or not.

Consider that in the new Ranked System the cost in DEC to buy energy points has been increased but buying them with VOUCHERS is much cheaper at the moment ;)

Sharing my initial experience playing in the new Ranked System ends here and I hope to continue to have positive results like today in the coming days.

For now, my first impression is very positive and in the coming days I will try to purchase/upgrade more top level summoner and monster cards to improve my game results even more and to finally get back to playing in the higher leagues!

E' arrivato il nuovo Ranked System! Le mie prime 20 battaglie + Le mie prime valutazioni e considerazioni

Su Splinterlands, poche ore fa, è terminata la stagione 129 ed è iniziata la stagione 130.
La stagione 130 non è una stagione come le altre perchè è la prima stagione in cui è attivo il nuovo Ranked System.

Il cambiamento che avrà l'impatto maggiore sulle dinamiche di gioco sarà secondo me la rimozione del card level league caps nelle ranked battles.

Tutto dovrebbe diventare più semplice soprattutto per i nuovi giocatori perchè adesso se hai un evocatore di massimo livello puoi usare tutte le carte di massimo livello da lui evocabili.

Ad esempio nel vecchio Ranked System se avevi l'evocatore Tarsa (max level) e la carta mostro Antoid Platoon (max level) e giocavi in lega Silver I potevi usare in battaglia solo le statistiche e abilità di Antoid Platon di livello = 5

Nel nuovo ranked system se hai l'evocatore Tarsa (max level) puoi utilizzare tutte le carte dell'elemento fuoco e dell'elemento neutrale di massimo livello in ogni lega!

Ma adesso è arrivato il momento di passare dalla teoria alla pratica e in questo post condivido le mie prime impressioni e valutazioni dopo 20 battaglie giocate nel Modern Format con il nuovo Ranked System.

Ho iniziato la stagione 130 in lega Silver III del Modern Format con un punteggio di rating = 1150.

Oggi ero molto curioso di giocare la mia prima battaglia con il nuovo ranked system anche se quando ho selezionato le carte da mandare in battaglia ho visualizzato le mie carte ancora con il livello cappato per la lega Silver.

Questo è stato solo un iniziale problema di visualizzazione in fase di selezione delle carte perchè nella battaglia ho potuto utilizzare Tarsa, Antoid Platton e Scorch Field di massimo livello come puoi vedere dallo screenshot seguente.

Ho risolto il problema di visualizzazione errata del livello delle mie carte facendo un semplice Hard Refresh del mio browser = Ctrl + Shift + R

Quindi se capita anche a te sai come fare per visualizzare il livello e le abilità delle tue carte correttamente nella fase di selezione delle carta da mandare in battaglia ;)

La mia prima battaglia è stata una vittoria.

Nel nuovo Ranked System ogni vittoria assegna +20 punti di Rating e ogni sconfitta -20 punti di rating.

Solo nel caso di più vittorie consecutive è possibile guadagnare +40 punti di rating.

Anche se solo dopo 20 battaglie giocate ho voluto fare un confronto tra il mio win rate nella stagione 129 (vecchio Ranked System) e il mio iniziale win rate nella stagione in corso.

Nella stagione in corso ho giocato 20 battaglie e ho ottenuto 13 vittorie = win rate -> 65%.

Anche se solo dopo 20 battaglie il mio win rate è migliorato di +22.47%

I miei risultati di gioco hanno avuto immediatamente un effetto positivo.

Se continuerò così dovrei finalmente riuscire ad abbandonare la lega Silver e spero di ritornare nelle leghe Gold+ dove giocavo stabilmente prima del rilascio del set Rebellion e dove non sono riuscito più a tornare dopo il rilascio del set Rebellion.

Per testare il nuovo Ranked System oggi ho anche acquistato 24 energy points utilizzando i token VOUCHER (migliore metodo di acquisto in base al valore attuale dei token DEC e dei token VOUCHER).

Non acquistavo energy points da tempo ma non mi ricordavo fosse possibile acquistarli con i VOUCHER e sono stato felice di scoprire questa novità.

Oggi ho acquistato 24 punti energia e ho speso 4.8 VOUCHER

La possibilità di acquistare i punti energia con i VOUCHER offre un nuovo elemento di valutazione per me perchè se dalle battaglie ottengo un guadagno medio in SPS superiore al costo di 1 punto energia acquistare i punti energia potrebbe essere conveniente.

Ad esempio oggi 29 febbraio per acquistare 1 punto energia quando ero in lega Silver III ho speso = 0.2 VOUCHER = 0.023 HIVE = 0.00851$

Nelle mie 13 vittorie su 20 battaglie giocate ho guadagnato ricompense in SPS in un range: min 0.703 SPS - max 1.01 SPS.

Oggi 29 febbraio 2024 0.703 SPS = 0.051 HIVE

Se ho speso 0.023 HIVE per acquistare 1 punto energia e ho vinto almeno 0.703 SPS = 0.051 HIVE da una vittoria in battaglia vuol dire che se ho un win rate superiore al 46% ottengo un profitto!

Quindi caro lettore in base al tuo win rate e alla lega in cui giochi puoi calcolare se acquistare i punti energia con i VOUCHER ti può portare un profitto oppure no.

Considera che nel nuovo Ranked System il costo in DEC per acquistare i punti energia è stato aumentato ma acquistarli con i VOUCHER è molto più conveniente al momento ;)

La condivisione della mia iniziale esperienza di gioco nel nuovo Ranked System termina qui e spero di continuare ad avere risultati positivi come oggi anche nei prossimi giorni.

Per il momento la mia prima impressione è molto positiva e nei prossimi giorni cercherò di acquistare/upgradare altre carte evocatore e mostro di massimo livello per migliorare ancora di più i miei risultati di gioco e per tornare finalmente a giocare nelle leghe più alte!
