The topic of my today's post is Muterra a Hive based game that I decided to invest in several months ago.
It was in fact July 27, 2021 when I participated in the first pre-sale of Maldives packs, a participation I shared in my Hive blog in this post: MUTERRA Pre-sale: New game on the HIVE blockchain!.

What is Muterra?

Muterra is a TCG game like Splinterlands but differently from Splinterlands it is also a RPG game.
This peculiarity, TCG+RPG, is one of the elements that convinced me to invest in this game.
Muterra can be considered a Pokemon-style game but play to earn.
Muterra is a game in the Alpha stage of development and therefore not all features have been implemented yet but it is already possible to explore the game map and try the Alpha 1.000 version of the game.

Today I started exploring the game map and interacted with the characters in the map.

The rewards part of the game has not yet been implemented, which is why the maps are explorable by all players.

Tamer and Tamer Licenses

When the rewards part is implemented, only players who have the combination of NFTs Tamer + License Tamer will be able to access maps and be able to collect in-game rewards.

The Tamers can be purchased from the in-game Market or from marketplaces on the WAX blockchain such as Atomichub.

Today I asked information about how to purchase Tamers on Muterra's discord Server.

In the future it will also be possible to purchase a Tamer of common type directly from the Muterra site as you can read from the answer given to me by the founder of the game: BLACK HEART (screenshot below)

The Tamer Licenses are already for sale in the Shop section of Muterra and the first 10000 have been put on sale at a price of $10 per license.
Starting with license number 10001 the price will be 20$.

My Investment on Muterra

On July 27, 2021, I participated in Muterra's first pre-sale and purchased 10 Maldives Packs.
The cost I incurred was 44,118 HBD.

The development of the game has been delayed since the first RoadMap but now the project is well underway and I am happy about this because I thought Muterra was an interesting project with potential when I participated in the first presale and I still think so today.

The Maldive Packs were all sold directly by Muterra and now you can buy them from markets outside the game such as:

The lowest sale price found on Hive Engine today is 22.39 SWAP.HIVE = $8.2843

Today, January 20, 2023, it is definitely worthwhile to buy a Maldives Pack on the dexes of the Hive blockchain and not on WAX.

MUT tokens, My Airdrop Rewards and Why I Opened 10 Maldives Pack

On January 14, 2023 there was the launch of the Alpha version of Muterra that enabled the following features:

• Tamer License Sale
• Crate Sale
• MUT Airdrop
• MUT Staking Reward
• Play Alpha V 1.000
• Referral Bonus

The airdrop of the MUT tokens began on January 14.
The MUT token is a second-level token of the Hive blockchain and will also be the only utility token of Muterra as clarified by @muterra in a previous post published on Hive.

Thanks to the 10 Maldives packs in my possession, I received 1.2 MUT in six days of airdrop: 0.2 MUT per day.

Today I decided to open the 10 MALDIVES packs that I had purchased on July 27, 2021 to increase the amount of MUT tokens to be received daily from the current airdrop.

If I did not open my 10 packs I would continue to receive 0.2 MUTs per day.

In each Maldives pack there are 5 NFT Mutee with a guarantee of finding at least one card of Uncommon rarity or better.

One Common card allows you to receive 0.0050 MUTs/Day.
An Uncommon card allows you to receive 0.0080 MUT/Day.

If I keep 1 Maldives packet without opening it I get 0.020 MUT/Day
If I open 1 Maldives pack I get in the worst case 0.028 MUT/Day

If I open my 10 Maldives Pack I get an amount of 0.28 MUT/Day in the worst case (most unfortunate):

• 0.0050 MUT/Day * 40 Common Cards = 0.2 MUT/Day
• 0.0080 MUT/Day * 10 Uncommon Cards = 0.08 MUT/Day

The simple calculations I have shown you prove that, for the purposes of MUT Airdrop, it is more advantageous to open a Maldives card pack instead of not opening it.

By the way the worst case is just as improbable as the best case and therefore in the average case which is more probable I should get more MUTs per day than the worst case.

It is time to pass from theory to practice.

In the following images you can see the cards I found inside the 10 Maldives packs I opened today.

I found 29 Mutee of Common rarity.

I found 5 Mutee of rarity Uncommon

I found 10 Rare Mutee.

I found 5 Epic Mutee

I found 1 Legendary Mutee but no Mythic type Mutee.

Thanks to opening 10 Maldives Packs, I have increased the gain in MUT/day compared to if I had chosen not to open the 10 Maldives Packs (0.20 Vs 0.4075)

Final Considerations

The number of Hive-based games is growing, and I am very happy about that.
Muterra is an interesting game project because it combines two game modes in one game: PvP and PvE!

Today 1 token MUT is worth 1.05 SWAP.HIVE = $0.3973 (Highest Bid)

My next buying targets** on Muterra are:

• 1 Tamer
• 1 Tamer Licenses

These two NFTs will be needed when the Beta version is released so they are not purchases I will be making in the immediate future.

All the MUT tokens that I will receive from the Airdrop I will put in staking because the distribution of MUT token staking rewards has also begun.

In the next few days I will evaluate whether to continue staking the MUT tokens or to sell a portion to accumulate a value of $10 to buy a Tamer License.

Muterra: MUT Airdrop, Tamer & Tamer Licenses e il motivo per cui ho aperto 10 Maldives Packs

L'argomento del mio post di oggi è Muterra un gioco Hive based in cui ho deciso di investire diversi mesi fa.
Era infatti il 27 luglio 2021 quando ho partecipato alla prima pre-sale dei Maldives packs, partecipazione che ho condiviso nel mio Hive blog in questo post: MUTERRA Pre-sale: New game on the HIVE blockchain!.

Cos'è Muterra?

Muterra è un gioco TCG come Splinterlands ma a differenza di Splinterlands è anche un gioco RPG.
Questa particolarità, TCG+RPG, è uno degli elementi che mi ha convinto a investire su questo gioco.
Muterra può essere considerato un gioco stile pokemon ma play to earn.
Muterra è un gioco nella fase di sviluppo Alpha e quindi non tutte le funzionalità sono state ancora implementate ma è già possibile esplorare la mappa del gioco e provare la versione Alpha 1.000 del gioco.

Oggi ho iniziato ad esplorare la mappa del gioco e ho interagito con i personaggi nella mappa.

La parte relativa alle ricompense di gioco non è stata ancora implementata e per questo motivo le mappe sono esplorabili da tutti i giocatori.

Tamer e Tamer Licenses

Quando sarà implementata la parte relativa alle ricompense solo i giocatori che avranno la combinazione di NFTs Tamer + License Tamer potranno accedere alle mappe e potranno raccogliere le ricompense di gioco.

I Tamer possono essere acquistati dall'in-game Market oppure dai market della blockchain di WAX come ad esempio Atomichub.

Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere i Tamer attualmente in vendita nella sezione Market di Muterra

Oggi ho chiesto informazioni sulle modalità di acquisto dei Tamers sul Server discord di Muterra.

In futuro sarà possibile acquistare anche un Tamer di tipo comune direttamente dal sito di Muterra come puoi leggere dalla risposta che mi ha dato la fondatrice del gioco BLACK HEART (screenshot seguente)

Le Tamer Licenses sono già in vendita nella sezione Shop di Muterra e le prime 10000 sono state messe in vendita ad un prezzo di 10$ per licenza.
A partire dalla licenza numero 10001 il prezzo sarà di 20$.

My Investment on Muterra

Il 27 luglio 2021 ho partecipato alla prima pre-sale di Muterra e ho acquistato 10 Maldive Packs.
Il costo che ho sostenuto è stato di 44.118 HBD.

Lo sviluppo del gioco ha avuto dei ritardi rispetto alla prima RoadMap ma adesso il progetto è a buon punto e sono felice di questo perchè ritenevo Muterra un progetto interessante e con potenziale quando ho partecipato alla prima presale e lo penso anche oggi.

I Maldive Packs sono stati tutti venduti direttamente da Muterra e adesso è possibile acquistarli dai mercati esterni al gioco come ad esempio:

Il prezzo di vendita più basso presente oggi su Hive Engine è di 22.39 SWAP.HIVE = 8.2843$

Oggi 20 gennaio 2023 conviene decisamente acquistare un Maldives Pack sui dex della blockchain di Hive e non su WAX.

MUT tokens, My Airdrop Rewards and Why I Opened 10 Maldives Pack

Il 14 gennaio 2023 c'è stato il lancio della versione Alpha di Muterra che ha attivato le seguenti funzionalità:

• MUT Airdrop
• MUT Staking Reward

Il 14 gennaio è iniziato l'airdrop dei token MUT.
Il token MUT è un token di secondo livello della blockchain di Hive e sarà anche l'unico utility token di Muterra come precisato da @muterra in un precedente post pubblicato su Hive.

Grazie ai 10 Maldives packs in mio possesso ho ricevuto 1.2 MUT in sei giorni di airdrop: 0.2 MUT al giorno.

Oggi ho deciso di aprire i 10 MALDIVES packs che avevo acquistato il 27 luglio 2021 per aumentare il quantitativo di token MUT da ricevere giornalmente dall'airdrop in corso.

Se non aprivo i miei 10 pacchi avrei continuato a ricevere 0.2 MUT al giorno.

In gni pacco Maldives ci sono 5 NFT Mutee con la garanzia di trovare almeno una carta di rarità Uncommon o migliore.

Una carta Common permette di ricevere 0.0050 MUT/Day
Una carta Uncommon permette di ricevere 0.0080 MUT/Day

Se tengo 1 pacco Maldives senza aprirlo ottengo 0.020 MUT/Day
Se apro 1 pacco Maldives ottengo nel caso peggiore 0.028 MUT/Day

Se apro i miei 10 Maldives Pack ottengo un quantitativo di 0.28 MUT/Day nel caso peggiore (il più sfortunato):

• 0.0050 MUT/Day * 40 Common Cards = 0.2 MUT/Day
• 0.0080 MUT/Day * 10 Uncommon Cards = 0.08 MUT/Day

Ecco dimostrato con semplici calcoli che, ai fini del MUT Airdrop, è più conveniente aprire un pacco di carte Maldives invece di non aprirlo.

Tra l'altro il caso peggiore è un caso improbabile quanto il caso migliore e quindi nel caso medio che è più probabile dovrei ottenere un numero di MUT per day maggiore del caso peggiore.

E' il momento di passare dalla teoria alla pratica.

Ho trovato 1 Mutee Leggendario ma nessun Mutee di tipo Mitico.

Grazie all'apertura di 10 Maldives Packs ho aumentato il guadagno in MUT/day rispetto al caso in cui avessi scelto di non aprire i 10 Maldives Pack (0.20 Vs 0.4075)

Final Considerations

Il numero dei giochi Hive-based sta crescendo e io sono molto contento di questo.
Muterra è un progetto di un gioco interessante perchè combina due modalità di gioco in un solo gioco: PvP e PvE!

Oggi 1 token MUT vale 1.05 SWAP.HIVE = 0.3973$ (Highest Bid)

I miei prossimi obiettivi di acquisto su Muterra sono:

• 1 Tamer
• 1 Tamer Licenses

Questi due NFT serviranno quando sarà rilasciata la versione Beta e quindi non sono acquisti che effettuerò nell'immediato.

Tutti i token MUT che riceverò dall'Airdrop li metterò in staking perchè è iniziata anche la distribuzione delle ricompense per lo staking dei token MUT.

Nei prossimi giorni valuterò se continuare a mettere in staking i token MUT o se vendere una parte per accumulare un valore di 10$ per acquistare una Tamer License.
