Blockchain-based games are one of my passions and particularly the Hive games because Hive is my favorite blockchain project.
Today, after about 18 days, I return to share my progress and game activity on Hashkings which is a farming game that is part of the HK games ecosystem.
There are also, by the way, some interesting news regarding Hashkings.

Updated Docs section

The first interesting but mostly useful new feature is the updated Docs section which you can access from the pricipal menu at https://farm.hashkings.app/play by following the INFO->DOCS path or by going directly to: https://docs.hashkings.app/getting-started/

The docs section had not been updated for quite some time and this was a problem especially from a new player's point of view but now that it is fully updated a new player has all the information he needs to start his adventure on Hashkings.

For example, in the Docs->Farming section there is a link to a spreadsheet where there are all the production data of seed-type NFTs.

New Hashkings roadmap and UI in work in progress

Five days ago @hashkings released the new Roadmap which contains several interesting points including:

• the development of a new User Interface for Hahkings.
• the solution of some bugs

In my opinion one of the problems of Hashkings farming game is actually the interface which is not very user friendly and some operations are inefficient.

For example, those who have many plots and many seeds have to plant a seed and refresh the page every time before planting another seed because the functionality of planting multiple seeds at the same time is not available.

The new UI and code redesign should solve this problem as well as other issues, so I am very happy that the development team is working on improving the player experience!

My Harvest Profit Calculations on Hashkings

Hashkings is not a free game and in order to start playing and to start collecting in-game rewards, it is necessary to purchase a combination of NFTs along with a minimum amount of HK Water tokens (fungible tokens):

1 Avatar + 1 Land + 1 Seed + HKWATER tokens

I have several avatar type NFTs but I chose as my main Avatar Spikebot-208 which is a legendary avatar.

I have 6 NFT of type Land:

• 4 South America
• 2 Africa

The 4 South America lands I purchased in February 2022 while the 2 Africa lands I purchased on February 11, 2023.

I spent a total of 90.20 SWAP.HIVE whose current dollar value is $31.48.

Thanks to the old MOTA token staking mechanism, I have accumulated 140 Seeds for my 4 South America lands and thus will not need to buy seeds and will not need to burn BUDS tokens to get Panama red and Colombian Gold seeds for a long time.

For my two Land Africa instead, I used the Seeds Pool Africa in which I burned a total of 7915 BUDS and got 15 Seeds of which I used 2.

I spent an average of 528 BUDS per SEED which is still a lower cost than the cost of buying from the market as you can see from the prices in the image below.

Until now I have chosen not to purchase NFT Water Tower because I could not find a selling price that would convince me to buy them and therefore I have always purchased HKWATER tokens from the market.

18 days ago I purchased 500K HKWATER and spent a total of 3.145 SWAP.HIVE = 0.00000629 SWAP.HIVE/HKWATER.

Today I performed the harvest from my 6 Lands and now I share my considerations and calculation of the profit I made.

From the 4 Land South America I harvested 808 BUDS.
From the 2 Lands Africa I harvested 3654 BUDS.

After harvest, I restarted production and calculated the cost I incurred to restart production and also calculated the estimated profit I will make when I harvest.

In my 4 Land South America I planted:

• 3 Colombian Gold
• 1 Panama Red

The seeds I planted today will produce 800 BUDS in 7 days.

I used 2184 HKWATER to water the 4 seeds.

In my 2 Land Africa I planted:

• 1 Swazi Gold
• 1 Kilimanjaro

The seeds I planted today will produce 4701 BUDS in 3 days.

I used 13656 HKWATER to water the 2 seeds.

From the 4 Land South America I will get a profit of 617 BUDS whose estimated value is $0.016154.
Production costs consume only 22.89% of the Harvest profit.

From the 2 Land Africa I will get a profit of 2374 BUDS whose estimated value is $0.062170.
Production costs consume 49.50% of the Harvest profit.

Both my farms in South America and Africa prove to be self-sufficient and both will produce a profit even if in a different time period.

The profit produced by my South America lands is greater in percentage terms than the profit produced by my two Africa lands (77.11% VS 50.50%) but the time to obtain it is less for the Africa lands (3 days Vs 7 days).

The dollar value of the profit is low ($0.016154 + $0.062170) but it is still a good profit considering the time it took me to get it which is very little.

To purchase the two Africa lands I spent 59 SWAP.HIVE and in 3 days I will get an estimated profit worth 0.178137 SWAP.HIVE which corresponds to 0.30% of the purchase cost.

This means that if the value of BUDS tokens and HKWATER tokens were to hypothetically remain the same as today in one month I will get a value of rewards equal to 3% of the purchase cost of the 2 Africa lands and it would take me 2.72 years to recover the purchase cost just by considering the value of game rewards.

Obviously the profit will increase if the BUDS tokens increase in value and decrease otherwise.

In the following image you can see the graph of the trend of the value of BUDS tokens in the last 3 months.

The value of the BUDS tokens has decreased from 3 months ago but I continue to accumulate BUDS tokens looking at the medium to long term because the Hashkings team is working on many projects and the BUDS token plays a central role in the HK Games ecosystem games and will most likely play a central role in future game projects as well.

Of course these are my personal considerations and are in no way financial advice.

I conclude this post of mine with the prospectus I created to monitor the trend in the value of tokens related to the Hashkings game: the BUDS tokens and the HKWATER tokens.

In the following images you can see the current values of BUDS tokens and HKWATER tokens expressed in HIVE and dollars, and you can also see the difference in market values (Highest Bid and Lowest Ask) in the time interval: February 21, 2023 - March 12, 2023.

I hope I have given you useful information and most importantly I hope I have shown you how doing calculations and evaluations in a farming game is always very important.

Hashkings: Sezione Docs Aggiornata, Nuova UI in lavorazione e il calcolo del Profitto del mio ultimo raccolto

I giochi basati su blockchain sono una delle mie passioni e lo sono in particolare gli Hive games perchè Hive è il mio progetto blockchain preferito.
Oggi, dopo circa 18 giorni, ritorno a condividere i miei progressi e la mia attività di gioco su Hashkings che è un gioco di farming che fa parte dell'HK games ecosystem.
Tra l'altro ci sono anche alcune interessanti novità che riguardano proprio Hashkings.

Sezione Docs aggiornata

La prima interessante ma soprattutto utile novità è l'aggiornamento della sezione Docs a cui puoi accedere dal menu pricipale su https://farm.hashkings.app/play seguendo il percorso INFO->DOCS oppure andando direttamente all'indirizzo: https://docs.hashkings.app/getting-started/

La sezione docs non veniva aggiornata da diverso tempo e questo era un problema soprattutto dal punto di vista di un nuovo giocatore ma adesso che è completamente aggiornata un nuovo giocatore ha tutte le informazioni che gli servono per iniziare la sua avventura su Hashkings.

Ad esempio nella sezione Docs->Farming è stato messo a disposizione dei giocatori il link per un foglio di calcolo in cui ci sono tutti i dati di produzione degli NFT di tipo seme.

Nuova Roadmap e nuova UI di Hashkings in lavorazione

Cinque giorni fa @hashkings ha pubblicato la nuova Roadmap che contiene diversi punti interessanti tra cui:

• lo sviluppo di una nuova User Interface per Hahkings
• la risoluzione di alcuni bugs

Uno dei problemi di Hashkings farming game è proprio l'interfaccia che non è molto user friendly e alcune operazioni sono poco efficienti.

Ad esempio chi ha molti plots e molti semi deve piantare un seme e aggiornare la pagina ogni volta prima di piantare un altro seme perchè la funzionalità di piantare più semi contemporaneamente non c'è.

La nuova UI e il ridisegno del codice dovrebbe risolvere questo problema come altri problemi e quindi sono molto contento che il team di sviluppo stia lavorando sul miglioramento dell'esperienza di gioco del giocatore!

My Harvest Profit Calculations

Hashkings non è un gioco gratuito e per iniziare a giocare e per iniziare a raccogliere le ricompense di gioco è necessario acquistare una combinazione di NFT insieme ad un minimo quantitativo di token HK Water (fungibile token):

1 Avatar + 1 Land + 1 Seed + HKWATER tokens

Ho diversi NFTs di tipo avatar ma ho scelto come mio Avatar principale Spikebot-208 che è un avatar leggendario.

Ho 6 NFT di tipo Land:

• 4 South America
• 2 Africa

Le 4 Land South America le ho acquistate a febbraio 2022 mentre le 2 Land Africa le ho acquistate l'11 febbraio 2023.

Ho speso in totale 90.20 SWAP.HIVE il cui valore in dollari attuale è 31.48$.

Grazie al vecchio meccanismo di staking dei token MOTA ho accumulato 140 Seeds per le mie 4 land South America e quindi non avrò bisogno di acquistare semi e non avrò bisogno di bruciare i token BUDS per ottenere i semi Panama red e Colombian Gold per molto tempo.

Per le mie due Land Africa invece ho utilizzato la Seeds Pool Africa in cui ho bruciato un totale di 7915 BUDS e ho ottenuto 15 Seeds di cui ne ho utilizzati 2.

Ho speso in media 528 BUDS per SEED che è comunque un costo inferiore rispetto al costo di acquisto dal mercato come puoi vedere dai prezzi nell'immagine seguente.

Fino ad oggi ho scelto di non acquistare gli NFT Water Tower perchè non ho trovato un prezzo di vendita che mi convincesse all'acquisto e per questo motivo ho sempre acquistato i token HKWATER dal mercato.

18 giorni fa ho acquistato 500K HKWATER e ho speso in totale 3.145 SWAP.HIVE = 0.00000629 SWAP.HIVE/HKWATER.

Oggi ho effettuato l'harvest dalle mie 6 Lands e condivido le mie considerazioni e il calcolo del profitto che ho ottenuto.

Dalle 4 Land South America ho raccolto 808 BUDS
Dalle 2 Land Africa ho raccolto 3654 BUDS

Dopo il raccolto ho fatto ripartire la produzione e ho calcolato il costo che ho sostenuto per far ripartire la produzione e ho calcolato anche il profitto stimato che otterrò quando effettuerò l'harvest.

Nelle mie 4 Land South America ho piantato:

• 3 Colombian Gold
• 1 Panama Red

I semi che ho piantato oggi produrranno 800 BUDS fra 7 giorni.

Per innaffiare i 4 semi ho utilizzato 2184 HKWATER

Nelle mie 2 Land Africa ho piantato:

• 1 Swazi Gold
• 1 Kilimanjaro

I semi che ho piantato oggi produrranno 4701 BUDS fra 3 giorni.

Per innaffiare i 2 semi ho utilizzato 13656 HKWATER

Dalle 4 Land South America otterrò un profitto di 617 BUDS il cui valore stimato è di 0.016154$.
I costi di produzione consumano solo il 22.89% del guadagno dell'Harvest.

Dalle 2 Land Africa otterrò un profitto di 2374 BUDS il cui valore stimato è di 0.062170$.
I costi di produzione consumano il 49.50% del guadagno dell'Harvest.

Entrambe le mie fattorie in South America e in Africa si dimostrano autosufficienti ed entrambe produrranno un profitto anche se in un periodo di tempo diverso.

Il profitto prodotto dalle mie land South America è maggiore in termini percentuali del profitto prodotto dalle mie due land Africa (77.11% VS 50.50%) ma il tempo per ottenerlo è minore per le land Africa (3 giorni Vs 7 giorni).

Il valore in dollari del profitto è basso (0.016154$ + 0.062170$) ma è comunque un buon profitto considerato il tempo che ho impiegato per ottenerlo che è molto poco.

Per acquistare le due land Africa ho speso 59 SWAP.HIVE e fra 3 giorni otterrò un profitto stimato del valore di 0.178137 SWAP.HIVE che corrisponde allo 0.30% del costo di acquisto.

Questo vuol dire che se il valore dei token BUDS e dei token HKWATER dovesse per ipotesi rimanere uguale a quello odierno in un mese otterrò un valore delle ricompense uguale al 3% del costo di acquisto delle 2 land Africa e impiegherei 2.72 anni per recuperare il costo di acquisto solo considerando il valore delle ricompense di gioco.

Ovviamente il profitto aumenterà se i token BUDS aumentaranno il loro valore e diminuirà nel caso contrario.

Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere il grafico dell'andamento del valore dei token BUDS negli ultimi 3 mesi.

Il valore dei token BUDS è diminuito rispetto a 3 mesi fa ma io continuo ad accumulare i token BUDS guardando al medio-lungo periodo perchè il team di Hashkings sta lavorando su molti progetti e il token BUDS ha un ruolo centrale nei giochi dell'HK Games ecosystem e con molta probabilità avrà un ruolo centrale anche nei progetti dei giochi futuri.

Ovviamente queste sono mie considerazioni personali e non sono in alcun modo consigli finanziari.

Concludo questo mio post con il prospetto che ho creato per monitorare l'andamento del valore dei tokens collegati al gioco di Hashkings: i token BUDS e i token HKWATER.

Nelle immagini seguenti puoi vedere i valori attuali dei token BUDS e dei token HKWATER espressi in HIVE e in dollari e puoi vedere anche la differenza dei valori di mercato (Highest Bid e Lowest Ask) nell'intervallo di tempo: 21 febbraio 2023 - 12 marzo 2023.
