I went out to buy milk for my baby but went home with a cup of milk tea.
When my little one is asleep, I could go out for a while and leave him to his Granny. Yet, I stay inside for a short time, just quickly purchasing our needs. Just like this ordinary day, as his milk is almost running out, as well as the baby wipes. The nearest drugstore is just approximately a minute's walk or a minute's drive.
It was a good thing; only a few customers were in line, and it took little time; I was done. For baby wipes, I chose the cheapest one and was thankful my LO skin was okay with it.
While walking back home, I felt thirsty, so I thought why not buy a cup of milk tea?. However, the kiosk that had been selling for quite some time was closed, wondering if for good.
This is a small restaurant in my husband's hometown, and I was surprised it survived the pandemic. Back then, when we are in the boyfriend and girlfriend stage, we used to dine here every I tagged along during his visit.
The owner owned the building, as the second floor seems to be a residential for rent.
Did you notice the windows?
Christmas stickers were used to adorn the glass windows, simply letting everyone know; hey! The festive season is coming.
I walked towards the counter to ask if they had milk tea on the menu!
Today is a good day! says the wooden displayed! Oh, I can't help but agree, as it was, indeed.
Two dark chocolate, please!Yeah, I need to buy one for mother-in-law,mother-in-law; that's her favorite flavor.
Do you believe food tastes different if cooked with LOVE?. I thought, yeah, it was also food for our soul. Who could live in hunger?
It's been years since I last dined here, so I couldn't recall if the food was that good, lol! I should order a plate of spaghetti or fries.
Ah, better not, as it might take time! The little one might wake up and stress his Granny!
The dining table looks homey, though, with the potted indoor plant.
It looks real, but it's not.
Great shadows! This could be my entry in #Smash, but I got only one photo. This will need to meet the criteria.
Snowflakes lights! Hay, I was indeed excited for the incoming holiday. It has been years since Christmas feels like an ordinary day for me. It was like more on spending, and I needed money! Now I had something to look forward to.
Finally, it was served!
Does it taste good? For less than $2, worth the money but different in Taiwan. Milktea was cheap, but you could taste the real TEA.
Great place with interesting articles.
Thanks
these little experiences remind us of the beauty in simplicity and the joy of creating new memories with our little ones, from running errands to reminiscing about special moments at the restaurant. Your reflection on food cooked with love resonates—it adds a unique flavor beyond just the ingredients. Thank you for sharing this delightful moment!
There is always joy in simple things

sometimes you need to also treat yourself my sister. You have been doing great taking care of the little one, and getting a milk teat after buying the milk for your son is very well deserved. : )
the place is also looks so nice, and that's great that they survive the hard covid era.
I would love to dine in here, maybe when hubby arrived.
A, missed the taste of that authentic milk tea.

I get real Milk Tea locally at my Asian Supermarket deli, costs $5 CAD as I have a high cost of living in Canada. You deserve to treat yourself as a mom's reward @lhes

That's around Php200 here and that amount of here is already an authentic one. Prices in well known milk tea shops
Ah Canada, given a chance I wanted to migrate there 😆.
You have a good government
I thought you were the father, then this title would have been really funny. There's this saying that when dads go out 'to get milk' they never come back to their family. Anyway, you're the mother and you came back with the milk and even some milk tea! Hahaha.
Hahha that's made me laugh. Didn't know about that saying
I thought it's hahanapin ang sarili, tapos nahanap da iba 😆
Eyyy, its good you got free time to do this, thanks to the baby boo for sleeping, ehe. I'm curious though if while you are away, nagising daw ba? That shop has a good vibe in there. Pahigop sa milk teaaaaa 🤤
