Enjoying cuddles, snuggles and kisses, what else I'll be doing this weekend?
My typical morning has been like these past weeks since all is well. Where's the glam girl? can't even comb your hair? 🤣
Hello fellow Hivians, it's been a while since the last time I published in the WE community. Thus, let me share an entry today in @galenkp WE 217.
What are you doing this weekend and why? - Use your own photos.
The past months, my day revolves around my house or let's say family compound. I may have gone out but either my or the baby's follow up check up. All my needs, I just asked a favor to the in-laws. That included food supply, I would only make a list, give the budget and usually they do the shopping for me.
At times it was boring I admit and the desire to go out was huge yet I couldn't. Thus, yesterday instead of doing the shopping for me, my sister in-law offered to take care of my baby so I could go out and shop on my own. She was so considerate! As she understands what I feel. Nope, I am not talking about a glamorous one but a grocery shopping. Consumption for at least a week.
First stop was at a convenience store to withdraw some cash but this caught my attention first. Not eating sweets for the past months as I was afraid my sugar might spike up. well this looks mouthwatering.
Yep, I bought just two pieces, enough to satisfy my cravings.
Aside from donuts I also bought bread. A lot of, five pieces in each flavor. For now I had a habit of drinking any beverages in the wee hours after breastfeeding or just feeling exhausted. Yep, this is a good pair.
Walking around, I was thinking of a menu to cook the entire week. That should have soup in order to help the simulation of milk. I am not @cindee08 that is good in the kitchen so this task was not easy.
Ended up buying some pork. chicken and boneless milkfish.
Washed and keep it arranged by pack per dish. That's the easiest so defrosting all the meat upon cooking is unnecessary. All I had to do was pick one.
Perhaps you see something familiar. yep that's an empty ice cream container. Recycling it and to be used in storing anything in the refrigerator is a Filipino thing.! Or Are you doing this too in your country?
I was surprised that a bundle of veggies like pechay and mustard now cost $0.35! That was expensive as the last time it's only $0.17! What's happening? Just for the ingredients alone I already spent more than $6.
And it was strikingly hot when I got home! While waiting for a ride, I dropped by a store to buy these.
I don't know but chocolate was my cravings these past days.
Though it was less than an hour breath of fresh air and just a simple walk, I find it nice. Didn't expect that going to the market would make me revitalize 😁.
And lets get back to cuddling

It's a good feeling going out again after being indoor for long, you have a cute baby, in my country we use empty ice cream containers too to keep fresh stew or sometimes as salt or Maggi container
Oh it was even in a short time!
Okay. That's nice
Hello baby cutie 🤗♥️
Everyday cuddling with baby was indeed satisfying.
Yep but also tiring 🤣
Many blessings to you and your baby. In my country, Venezuela, In my country, Venezuela, we also recycle empty ice cream containers.
Happy to know not only us 😄
How nice that you were able to go out to the market, so you could also entertain yourself and buy your things, in my country we also use the pots to put some food, greetings.
It was like having a short freedom
The cutie looks like asking for more milk. 🥰 You'll feel a lot hungrier for sure if you are breastfeeding and staying up late. Even holding the baby for most of the day can tire you out. So that's right, Mommy! Stock up foods and eat anytime you like. Balik alindog na lang after. 🤗
Haha he is always hungry that my breast milk isn't enough .
I've also been craving for sweet things like chocolate lately 😂
Its a hassle to get though as it's expensive near me😂😂
