My First Business Venture In The Philippines
Here you can see my first venture into Coconuts. The simple idea is to remove moisture from the coconuts so that it will weigh less for transporting. The deal is very simple its a 50/50 split with the harvesting team and the owner of the farm. Because my father-in-law was also doing the harvesting we would keep most of all the income in the family.
Here you can see an older coconut that has started to grow. Will use this to replant for generational wealth.
Here you can see the coconuts cut in half. We will start a fire under the coconuts so that we can remove about 40% of the moisture.
dehusking... these husks will be used for the fire to dry out he coconut meat.

My nephew showing off his blade
Me and my daughter resting on a rice sack that will later be used to carry the coconuts.
check me out selling these coconuts and making them pesos!

I do like this.
But here is a big NO in hive. You do not vote your own post. That is against hive etiquette.

Oh damn! Looks great! I really can imagine the warm sun, sound & smell in the air... Great! For sure you enjoy!
Before I moved to the Philippines I would dream about doing coconut harvesting.
Thanks for taking the time to write a comment I am just getting my blogging going here.
This is cool man!
I watched the full video. It is uncut and real-life.
Two suggestions:
Try to pick up some video editing techniques. Cassie Neisstad stuff on YouTube :) Perhaps much simpler than that.
Edit the video so that they are under 5 min. This same video if edited can be 3-min. If you just cut out when you are not really filming like holding the camera down etc.
But overall a great effort and excellent start. Not to mention it is a powerful storyline. You should expand on Vegas to Philippines part
Cool Video, Glad you chose to share, the transition for you must have been big, but to be honest I think you have found a home here. I cant wait to share some of our community service posts moving forward.
