Weekly Milage Update 11.25.24, Beyond 1000 Miles!
Hello there Friends, Happy Monday evening - and thank you for your visit!
This is post number 19 in the #cyclingcommunity. Since I made it to
1000 miles / 1609.34 kilometers for the year - so far I have a new goal!
I have "realistically" about 4 more weeks (time-wise) of riding till the end of the year. Why don't I shoot for 2000 kilometers?
And that's my new goal! I started the year hoping to make 365 miles / kilometers. Then it went to 500 miles, and a 1000 miles! Now I want to get to 2000 kilometers, by the end of the year, wish me luck!
And now back to last week. And "it" happened again! I had the Black bike up for "1" day, and flat again!
Since buying tubes to throw them away, and slinging "Slime" just to watch it squirt out - I am getting "new tires and tubes" for the Black bike this week! I mean, I was pushing it... I wanted to see how far they would go. Well they have been on the bike since 2010, they are starting to dry-rot, and are quite hard - so... They are going! I think that there is so many things embedded in them (I have found a lot) that they have to go!
So The Black bike,
This Monday at 770 miles / 1239.19 kilometers
An increase of,
7.7 miles / 12.39 kilometers
And so...
The Green bike,
This Monday,
263.20 miles / 439.67 kilometers
An increase of,
21.5 miles / 34.60 kilometers
So this puts me at,
29.2 miles / 46.99 kilometers (total) for the week as well.
This puts the total at,
1033.2 miles / 1663.77 kilometers!
I am hoping to do better this week!
Last week I had a few days of...
Yeah, winds over 20 mph Gusts much higher a few days... No I really don't try that on the Green bike and think about it on the Black one. This week the winds should be lower, though the temps are dropping so let's see how far it goes!
Thank you again for your visit, I do appreciate it!
And that was it for this week,
"Keep On Pedalin'"!
🚴🚲🚴🚲🚴
