Weekly Milage Update, 11.11.24 - 12.32 miles to go!
Hello there Friends, Happy Monday evening - and thank you for your visit!
This is post number 17 in the #cyclingcommunity I am posting a few more miles towards my goal of a "thousand miles for the year"! Due to the flat, that came back "again" on the Black bike, most of the "few" miles this week are on the Green bike, "its tire" held up!
So first, it seems as I get closer to the 1000 mile / 1609.344 kilometers mark, the more the "Cycling Gremlins" attack! I have really not had flats for years. I did have a few problems in the Green bike earlier in the year when I put on the new tires and that was it. I honestly never had a flat before on the Black bike. It will be Wednesday/Thursday before I get to repairing it again!
And so...
The Black bike:
This Monday I am at,
762.3 miles / 1226.80 kilometers,
an increase of,
3.1 miles / 4.98 kilometers
So with the Green bike up and running like a trooper I did get in a few miles / kilometers this week - though not nearly enough!
The Green bike,
This Monday:
225.38 miles / 362.71 kilometers,
an increase of,
13.04 miles / 20.98 kilometers
So this puts me at,
16.14 miles / 25.81 kilometers (total) for the week.
This puts the total at,
987.68 miles / 1589.51 kilometers
Which leaves 12.32 miles / 19.82 kilometers to go to reach my goal of a "thousand miles" before the end of the year!
I am hoping that this happens this week, and should - provided that I don't run into any more "snags"!
I want to thank you again for your visit, I do appreciate it!
And that was it for this week,
"Keep On Pedalin'"!
