Bitcoiners are against debasement of the currencies. With governments embracing Bitcoin, it means that they are also buying into hard money rather than their own debased fiat. It means Bitcoin is winning the argument.
Bitcoin isn't "hard money" unless we are going to redefine that term. "hard money" refers to coinage made of a commodity (typically silver or gold). In contrast with "soft" money which is fiat (traditionally paper).
It’s also a trick on their part. As soon as they allow you to use crypto to pay taxes or fees they know for sure you own crypto. Harder to hide it from them.
I suppose that's true. But I generally don't hide my crypto. Early on, after some thought, I decided it's more practical to pay tax. I would slip up eventually in my privacy efforts.

Connecting and disconnecting lights, handling phase offs, and making sure everyone within the community was doing well, and enjoying the blessings of having the power up at every time. Even though the power supply was not so regular, he made sure that for every time it was restored, everybody within the community enjoyed it.

Deadlight is a puzzle side-scroller with action and platforming elements.The first thing I noticed is how quick to the action the game jumps. It gives no time for backstories, and I spent most of the game figuring it out through the hints.
I assume Deadlight didn't focus on explaining anything because it uses the typical Zombie plotline format, and it trusts the player to understand from previous exposure to the Zombie genre.
Deadlight starts in the middle of an argument between a group of people whose one of them got bitten by Zombies. The protagonist, Randall Wayne, is separated from the group. Knowing their destination, Seattle's "Safe Point," Wayne sets off. You spends the rest of the game trying to find them.
I love the grey-ish, brown-ish color scheme of the game. Deadlight uses colors to guide the player's direction as Blue is used to signify puzzle hints, and Red is used for danger.
Playing it on the Steam Deck's 7 inch screen, the characters and text felt too small to me sometimes. I was still able to play the game and understood what's happening most of the time, but really, it was hard to see some ledges that I need to jump to.
You're given access to Randall Wayne's Diary pages since the beginning of the game, but some pages are torn off. You get some of them back as you play through the chapters. Deadlight uses these diary pages as a great foreshadowing tool.
While playing Deadlight, I died too many times for stupid reasons. Including pressing the wrong button at the wrong time. Or when my character keeps turning left and right on a ladder instead of jumping.
Checkpoints happen after every major step of the game. When I die, I usually restart right before the place I did, usually 2 minutes away at most. I love the Red tone of the Game Over screen. I still dread it.
The RT button is used to Shoot while Aiming is done by the right joystick. I kept holding RT instead of using the right joystick for aiming, and since I'm holding RT instead of pressing it, my character won't shoot.
Deadlight had the perfect length for its story. I spent 5 hours, but I could finish it in less than 2 hours the second time, as I now know the solution to the puzzles.
For cutscenes, the game uses a minimalist approach using Comic Book-style still images along with voice overs. The art style contrasts very well with the 2.5D graphics of the gameplay segments.
Speaking of voice-overs, the game's dialogue is realistic. Maybe, too realstic. I had a hard time making out what most of the character were saying because of the accents and how they're realisticly freaked out. For one, a character named Carl kept saying "The women, the children" and ignoring his friend's questions, because you know, you can't really focus when you're dying!
I loved the voice of the protagonist, Randall Wayne, he reminds me a lot of Solid Snake from the Metal Gear Solid series, but Wayne sounds more tired/depressed.
The foreshadowing in Deadlight is Materclass... Not only you get the diary from the beginning, but also Randall Wayne's dialogue is inconsistent sometimes. Talking about his family as if he only separated from them recently. Talking to his friends/group about his family as if they knew them.
Anyway, half-way through the game, I predicted the plot twist. It was satisfying seeing it come true at the ending of the game.
Maybe that makes it too predictable...? But I like it.
Of course, the story's twist only works this well because of the short game's length. Though that story might work better as a movie instead of a game. Deadlight's gameplay is fun, but the pacing of the story could be better in another medium.
About half of the game is spent running away from the Shadows (this game's name for the Zombies) and only near the end I had fun shooting zombies. Mainly because when I had Gun before then, the bullets were far too limited and running away made more sense.

As for the Survival aspect. Yes, this is a survival game, but it's linear and most of the gameplay is puzzle-based, even the ones that require fast reaction times.

I was just reading that and wanted to thread about it as well. This is gigantic if it happens, the finance world as we know it will change forever.
That was known to world since 2016 with an wolrd street journal article. The 2008 crisis and birth of Bitcoin was carefully engineered to solve the soverign debt.
I assume these countries are wealthy enough for their citizen to want, but also afford to travel. I like the numbers behind the numbers.

I'm not really happy about Governments going this hard into Crypto!
If and when that happens, I cannot even imagine how high Bitcoin can go. Let's see if Trump find the support to make this a reality.

I have seen criticisms that Bitcoiners are largely anti-government and are now celebrating that governments are embracing Bitcoin.
Bitcoiners are against debasement of the currencies. With governments embracing Bitcoin, it means that they are also buying into hard money rather than their own debased fiat. It means Bitcoin is winning the argument.
Bitcoin isn't "hard money" unless we are going to redefine that term. "hard money" refers to coinage made of a commodity (typically silver or gold). In contrast with "soft" money which is fiat (traditionally paper).
That doesn't mean bitcoin isn't better than government fiat, but it isn't "cold hard cash".
No, of course not. If civilization were to collapse, Internet access is not assured for people to continue using cryptos. But, one problem at a time.
It’s also a trick on their part. As soon as they allow you to use crypto to pay taxes or fees they know for sure you own crypto. Harder to hide it from them.
I suppose that's true. But I generally don't hide my crypto. Early on, after some thought, I decided it's more practical to pay tax. I would slip up eventually in my privacy efforts.

Below, I'll Freestyle my impressions on the game I finished today, so I have ideas to bounce off when writing my actual review on the game.

Deadlight is a puzzle side-scroller with action and platforming elements.The first thing I noticed is how quick to the action the game jumps. It gives no time for backstories, and I spent most of the game figuring it out through the hints.
I assume Deadlight didn't focus on explaining anything because it uses the typical Zombie plotline format, and it trusts the player to understand from previous exposure to the Zombie genre.
Deadlight starts in the middle of an argument between a group of people whose one of them got bitten by Zombies. The protagonist, Randall Wayne, is separated from the group. Knowing their destination, Seattle's "Safe Point," Wayne sets off. You spends the rest of the game trying to find them.
I love the grey-ish, brown-ish color scheme of the game. Deadlight uses colors to guide the player's direction as Blue is used to signify puzzle hints, and Red is used for danger.
Playing it on the Steam Deck's 7 inch screen, the characters and text felt too small to me sometimes. I was still able to play the game and understood what's happening most of the time, but really, it was hard to see some ledges that I need to jump to.
You're given access to Randall Wayne's Diary pages since the beginning of the game, but some pages are torn off. You get some of them back as you play through the chapters. Deadlight uses these diary pages as a great foreshadowing tool.
Of course, I didn't read most of the pages, but I read some... One diary entry repeatedly says: "I'm afraid of the night" ...It's unsettling!

While playing Deadlight, I died too many times for stupid reasons. Including pressing the wrong button at the wrong time. Or when my character keeps turning left and right on a ladder instead of jumping.
Checkpoints happen after every major step of the game. When I die, I usually restart right before the place I did, usually 2 minutes away at most. I love the Red tone of the Game Over screen. I still dread it.
The RT button is used to Shoot while Aiming is done by the right joystick. I kept holding RT instead of using the right joystick for aiming, and since I'm holding RT instead of pressing it, my character won't shoot.

Deadlight had the perfect length for its story. I spent 5 hours, but I could finish it in less than 2 hours the second time, as I now know the solution to the puzzles.
For cutscenes, the game uses a minimalist approach using Comic Book-style still images along with voice overs. The art style contrasts very well with the 2.5D graphics of the gameplay segments.
Speaking of voice-overs, the game's dialogue is realistic. Maybe, too realstic. I had a hard time making out what most of the character were saying because of the accents and how they're realisticly freaked out. For one, a character named Carl kept saying "The women, the children" and ignoring his friend's questions, because you know, you can't really focus when you're dying!
I loved the voice of the protagonist, Randall Wayne, he reminds me a lot of Solid Snake from the Metal Gear Solid series, but Wayne sounds more tired/depressed.

The foreshadowing in Deadlight is Materclass... Not only you get the diary from the beginning, but also Randall Wayne's dialogue is inconsistent sometimes. Talking about his family as if he only separated from them recently. Talking to his friends/group about his family as if they knew them.
Anyway, half-way through the game, I predicted the plot twist. It was satisfying seeing it come true at the ending of the game.
Maybe that makes it too predictable...? But I like it.
Of course, the story's twist only works this well because of the short game's length. Though that story might work better as a movie instead of a game. Deadlight's gameplay is fun, but the pacing of the story could be better in another medium.

Did I mention they're called Shadows instead of Zombies?
About half of the game is spent running away from the Shadows (this game's name for the Zombies) and only near the end I had fun shooting zombies. Mainly because when I had Gun before then, the bullets were far too limited and running away made more sense.

If you invested only your profits from BTC, how did you lose? Hive got to around $7 back then.
I traded my btc straight up and then lost 90% of the value when it crashed. I clawed my back though grinding on hive. I'm whole now.
That's one thing about Hive. You are likely to earn an ROI; it may just take time. I either sell for an ROI or stake for an ROI. The latter could just take a bit of time.
The thing I like most about hive is that you can earn without having to be a trader. That isn't something Im good at. Also if hive gets above $1 any time in the future Im in good shape.
I'm optimistic Hive will get to $1 in the not-so-distant future. This is a very good product that is being pulled back by the vulture-culture of crypto investors.

It is not smelling like a scam , it is actually a scam because in most cases , the airdrop value the person will get is not even up to the amount they spent on the ton which they claim is the transfer fee

How often should we be voting for witnesses? Many people don't realize it's an ongoing effort and forgot about it after their initial vote, but it's also hard to keep on top of it each day.
I would say, checking at least (without any reason) twice a year is a good rule of thumb for most people. Plus, some other times whenever you see either something you like or don't like.

I am sure that the ones that understand how important it is because of their stake, will understand that more assidual voting is required. But those will already know... I see that almost weekly happening in some cases. Which tells me there are people that care a LOT!
Either way, does not mean that everyone need to have the same attention. But starting somewhere is key.
