Una batalla entre Byzantine Kitty Vs. Lily Shieldpaw [ES-EN]

Ya Hace más de 2 semanas que nos les traía una batalla emocionante y que mejor manera de hacerlo que mostrando una batalla épica entre 2 de los “Invocadores Legendarios” del Splinter de Dragon, los cuales fueron creados por el mismo jugador o jugadora, en este caso estoy hablando de la toda poderosa “Byzantine Kitty”, la cual, a pesar de haber pasado al “Formato Salvaje” en diciembre pasado, sigue siendo igual de útil y fuerte como siempre, sinceramente uno de los mejores invocadores del juego, por ultimo tenemos a “Lily Shieldpaw”, la cual, es un invocador legendario de la edición de “Chaos Legion”, la cual forma parte del “Formato Moderno” actual, pero, a diferencia de la primera, no he tenido experiencias con “Lily”, así que en esta batalla veremos de que es capaz.
Por otro lado, esta batalla de cierto modo es especial, ya tenía tiempo que no me enfrentaba a un compañero de gremio en las “Batallas Clasificatorias”, en este caso enfrente a mi compañero y gran jugador “Petroni7” en la liga de “Campeones” en el formato salvaje, ya saben que solo juego en este formato porque gran parte de mi mazo pertenece a las ediciones más antiguas del juego, por supuesto, no sabía que me enfrentaría a él, pero, las reglas de la batalla nos obligaron a jugar de manera muy similar, es por eso que también aprovechare de mostrar una de las estrategias que suelo utilizar en estos conjuntos de reglas, así que, presten mucha atención a este post.
En tal sentido, si se quedan hasta el final, podrán conocer una de las formas en las que suelo jugar con las reglas que describiré en el desarrollo de esta publicación, por lo que para ello abarcare los siguientes puntos que mencionare a continuación, así que, sin más dilaciones, vamos con el post:

Las mejores formas de jugar en contra de (Born Again y Briar Patch)
Estos conjuntos de reglas mencionados en el titulo son muy peculiares, ya que los efectos de ambos son claramente entendibles, sin embargo, esto podemos aprovecharlo a nuestro favor para sacar ventaja, pero, antes de explicarlo con claridad, detallare cuáles son sus efectos y como usarlos a nuestro favor:
Briar Patch: Esta regla de batalla lo que hace es otorgar a todas las cartas en el campo incluyendo las de nuestro oponente, la habilidad llamada “Thorns”, la cual, al atacar a un enemigo con “Cuerpo a Cuerpo”, se causa daño a si mismo con –2 puntos de daño a su vida o en su defecto a su escudo si es que lo posee.
Born Again: Esta regla es muy parecida a la anterior, lo que hace esta regla es otorgar a las cartas la habilidad de “Rebirth”, la cual permite que todas las cartas al ser derrotadas por primera vez vuelvan a la vida con +1 punto de vida y todos sus puntos de escudo si es que lo poseen.
Ahora bien, ya que conocen los efectos de ambas reglas de batalla, la pregunta es ¿Como podemos jugar en ellas, o cual sería la mejor forma de hacerlo?
¿Como jugar con “Briar Patch y Born Again”?
Para saber jugar en esta combinación de reglas específicas, lo primero que debemos tener en cuenta, es saber contrarrestar el efecto de ambas o en su defecto aprovecharlos a nuestro favor para obtener una ventaja en contra de nuestro rival, a lo que me refiero, es que debemos saber exactamente que necesitamos jugar una vez ya conozcamos todo sobre ellas, entonces, sabiendo esto, veamos como analizar y/o pensar en estas circunstancias:
Para Briar Patch, lo que debemos tener en cuenta es que, los monstruos con el tipo de ataque “Cuerpo a Cuerpo” no son nuestra mejor opción, ya que son los más vulnerables al daño que podría ocasionar “Thorns”, teniendo esto en cuenta, lo mejor es jugar con los tipos de ataque de “Rango y Mágico”, sin embargo, esto nos puede ayudar a deducir que podría utilizar nuestro oponente en nuestra contra, por lo que, dependiendo de lo que queramos hacer, es que seleccionaremos nuestras cartas y armaremos lo que llamo nuestra “Estructura de juego”.
Para Born Again, la situación también puede ser manejable, sin embargo, nuestro objetivo es alargar la partida tanto como podamos, por lo que, necesitamos mucha resistencia, esto quiere decir que, para obtener la ventaja en esta regla, necesitamos cartas que puedan curar sus puntos de vida, en tal sentido, aquellas que tengan las habilidades “Heal o Tank Heal e incluso Triage”, pueden ser de mucha ayuda, también otro factor importante puede ser la velocidad, ya que, si atacamos primero, sus monstruos morirán primero, lo que nos daría mucha más resistencia.
Importante: En resumen, tenemos que jugar solo con “Rango o Magia”, por otro lado, como son solo 2 tipos de ataque disponibles, lo ideal es jugar con cartas que puedan ayudar a combatir ambos tipos de ataque, además de colocar cartas con las habilidades que mencione anteriormente, en este punto, ya sabemos exactamente lo que podríamos jugar para tener las mayores probabilidades de éxito, debo resaltar, que este análisis es rápido, solo tenemos 3 minutos para llevarlo a cabo, así que, para mejorar, solo deben practicar.
Byzantine Kitty Vs. Lily Shieldpaw ¿Quién es mejor?
En la sección anterior mencione todos los elementos necesarios para aumentar nuestras oportunidades, así que, lo que quiero hacer en esta parte del post, es mostrarles la batalla y explicarles mi forma de pensar, además de que también observaran que mi oponente pensó de manera muy similar a la mía, y solo pude ganar por la “Resistencia” que ya mencioné, pero, veamos la siguiente imagen para apreciarlo mejor:

Como pueden ver, nuestras alienaciones son muy parecidas, pero, explicare cada una brevemente para que conozcan las estrategias, luego podrán apreciar la batalla las veces que quieran para analizarla y en su defecto replicarla cada vez que estas condiciones se den:
Mi alineación: Yo decidí utilizar el “Splinter de Dragon” apoyándome del equipo de tierra y algunas otras catas neutrales, mi invocador elegido fue “Byzantine Kitty”, pero, no fue al azar, ya que sus habilidades eran perfectas para ayudarme tanto en el aspecto “Ofensivo” como en el de la “Resistencia”, ya que, otorgándole a todo mi equipo +2 puntos de velocidad, curando a mi tanque en turno con “Tank Heal” y, además la increíble habilidad de “True Strike” para no fallar ningún ataque, era perfecto, por otro lado, observen el resto de cartas que jugué y con sus habilidades determinaran por qué utilice cada una de ellas.
Mi oponente: Por su parte, decidió jugar de una manera muy similar a la mía, pero apoyándose en “Lily Shieldpaw”, apoyándose también en la ofensiva y la resistencia, ya que utilizo doble tank heal y triage, sin embargo, no contaba con la velocidad ni la capacidad de no fallar ataques, así que, esto me dio mucha ventaja para soportar hasta el final con una carta.
Espero que este post les ayude a mejorar su jugabilidad con estos conjuntos de reglas específicos, en donde, tanto mi oponente como yo, jugamos de manera magistral para estas reglas, así que, ambas “Estructuras de Juego” son adecuadas para la ocasión, pero, si me preguntan, para mi “Byzantine Kitty” sigue siendo más fuerte y útil que “Lily Shieldpaw”, la combinación de habilidades que tiene es más diversificada con la ofensiva y la defensiva al mismo tiempo, por lo que, jugando las cartas correctas, es complicado que se pierda una partida.

On the other hand, this battle is special in a way, it had been a while since I faced a guildmate in the “Qualifier Battles”, in this case I faced my partner and great player “Petroni7” in the “Champions” league in the wild format, you know that I only play in this format because most of my deck belongs to the older editions of the game, of course, I didn't know that I would face him, but, the rules of the battle forced us to play in a very similar way, that's why I will also take the opportunity to show one of the strategies that I usually use in these rule sets, so, pay close attention to this post.

Best Ways to Play Against (Born Again and Briar Patch)
These sets of rules mentioned in the title are very peculiar, since the effects of both are clearly understandable, however, this can be used to our advantage, but, before explaining it clearly, I will detail what their effects are and how to use them to our advantage:
Briar Patch: This battle rule grants all cards on the field, including those of our opponent, the ability called “Thorns”, which, when attacking an enemy with “Melee”, causes damage to himself with -2 points of damage to his life or his shield if he has one.
Born Again: This rule is very similar to the previous one, what this rule does is to grant cards the “Rebirth” ability, which allows all cards to be defeated for the first time to come back to life with +1 life point and all their shield points if they have it.
Now, since you know the effects of both battle rules, the question is how can we play them, or what would be the best way to do it?
How to play with “Briar Patch and Born Again”?
To know how to play in this combination of specific rules, the first thing we must take into account, is to know how to counteract the effect of both or otherwise take advantage of them in our favor to gain an advantage against our opponent, what I mean, is that we must know exactly what we need to play once we already know everything about them, then, knowing this, let's see how to analyze and / or think in these circumstances:
For Briar Patch, what we must keep in mind is that monsters with the “Melee” attack type are not our best option, since they are the most vulnerable to the damage that “Thorns” could cause, taking this into account, it is best to play with the “Range and Magic” attack types, however, this can help us to deduce what our opponent could use against us, so, depending on what we want to do, is that we will select our cards and put together what I call our “Game Structure”.
For Born Again, the situation can also be manageable, however, our goal is to extend the game as long as we can, so, we need a lot of stamina, this means that, to get the advantage in this rule, we need cards that can heal their life points, in that sense, those that have the abilities “Heal or Tank Heal and even Triage”, can be very helpful, also another important factor can be the speed, because, if we attack first, their monsters will die first, which would give us much more stamina.
Important: In summary, we have to play only with “Range or Magic”, on the other hand, as there are only 2 types of attack available, the ideal is to play with cards that can help to combat both types of attack, in addition to placing cards with the skills mentioned above, at this point, we already know exactly what we could play to have the best chance of success, I must emphasize that this analysis is fast, we only have 3 minutes to carry it out, so, to improve, you should only practice.

In the previous section I mentioned all the necessary elements to increase our chances, so, what I want to do in this part of the post, is to show you the battle and explain my way of thinking, plus you will also notice that my opponent thought very similar to mine, and I could only win because of the “Resistance” that I already mentioned, but, let's see the following image to appreciate it better:
As you can see, our alienations are very similar, but, I will explain each one briefly so that you know the strategies, then you can watch the battle as many times as you want to analyze it and, if not, replicate it every time these conditions occur:
My lineup: I decided to use the “Dragon Splinter” supporting me from the ground team and some other neutral catas, my chosen summoner was “Byzantine Kitty”, but, it wasn't random, as her abilities were perfect to help me both in the “Offensive” and “Resistance” aspect, since, giving all my team +2 points of speed, healing my tank in turn with “Tank Heal” and also the incredible ability of “True Strike” to not miss any attack, it was perfect, on the other hand, look at the rest of the cards I played and with their abilities you will determine why I used each one of them.
My opponent: For his part, he decided to play in a very similar way to mine, but relying on “Lily Shieldpaw”, also relying on offense and resistance, since he used double tank heal and triage, however, he did not have the speed or the ability to not miss attacks, so this gave me a lot of advantage to endure until the end with one card.
I hope this post will help you to improve your gameplay with these specific rule sets, where, both my opponent and I, play masterfully for these rules, so, both “Game Structures” are suitable for the occasion, but, if you ask me, for me “Byzantine Kitty” is still stronger and more useful than “Lily Shieldpaw”, the combination of skills it has is more diversified with offensive and defensive at the same time, so, playing the right cards, it is complicated to lose a game.
