Bireuen Police Chief Joins Patrol at Meugang Market.
Bireuen Resort Police Chief (Kapolres) AKBP Jatmiko SH MH took part in patrolling the seasonal market selling meugang meat in Bandar Village, Kota Juang District, Bireuen Regency, Saturday (15/6/2024).
This monitoring was carried out together with the main officials and personnel of the Bireuen Police, members of Koramil 01 Kota Juang, Kodim 0111/Bireuen.
The Bireuen Police Chief, AKBP Jatmiko, accompanied by the Head of the Traffic Unit and others, walked and also chatted and greeted the meugang meat traders who were selling on the roadside of the former railway track.
The patrol was carried out in order to create security and public order. Apart from the Bireuen Police, the police chiefs also carried out patrols in all their respective sub-districts, especially at the Meugang location.
Head of Public Relations for the Bireuen Police, Ipda Marzuki, accompanied by Head of PIDM Subdivision, Bripka Safwan Rizal, said that during the visit, the traders said that the price of meat was around IDR 170-180 thousand/kilogram.
During the patrol, the Bireuen Police Chief conveyed an appeal to traders to work together to maintain security and public order.
To the parking attendants, AKBP Jatmiko advised them to help maintain the smooth flow of traffic, by parking their vehicles in their place, so as not to cause traffic jams.
Bireuen Police Chief, AKBP Jatmiko, said that patrols in recent days have focused on market places ahead of Eid al-Adha, both at the police, police, sub-sector and police post levels.
The aim is to create security and order, provide comfort for traders and the public.
Patrols were also carried out again on Sunday (16/6/2024) both in Bireuen and sub-district markets.
