Under the mulberry tree
Here I come for thee
I sing a lullaby for you to be free

Watching the sparkles of the sunrise everyday was what gave Diana a fresh energy that removed a heavy sadness from her mind and soul, what she wanted was not a mundane life, but something spiritual with the ascended masters, this is what gave her vitality to do her daily tasks and remove the suffering and sadness that cancer brought into her life. Cancer was a big burden on her and her family. She suffered from lung cancer and couldn’t breathe properly. She loved listening to music due to her not having so much friends because of her illness.

She didn’t have any boyfriend because deep down she felt a heavy burden. She didn’t let love into her life. Music was a blessing in her life, that’s what gave her energy to get through all the tests and surgeries. She was only 12 years old when she was first diagnosed with lung cancer. Cancer is a disease that’s hard to fight for adults let alone a teenager. In her alone time, she started getting interested and reading about spirituality and learned so much about spiritual guides, numerology and divination. She learned about past life regression. She once wanted to get a tattoo of a waxing moon but her mother didn’t let her do it.

One day, Diana’s aunt Josephine was telling a story about a woman called Julia who healed from her cancer going to a fortune teller who travelled the world in her little van. She read the fortune of Julia and told her what was going to happen and it happened exactly as she said and she was healed from her cancer. So, Diana insisted to go to the fortune teller to see what she tells her.

“I want to go mom, maybe she’ll tell me how I’m going to heal” Diana told her mother desperately and insistently.

“It’s all superstition, no one can tell the future, and you will decide what is best for you” Lisa, Diana’s mother said trying to give Diana a life lesson.

“I am at the finish line, It’s no harm to try it once, see how I am going to heal” Diana said.

Finally, they decide to go and see Madam Soufi, a fortune teller who did coffee cup and tarot reading, to tell Diana how she is going to heal. Diana prepared herself, she didn’t want to look desperate, she wanted to look as if this is a casual encounter and it mattered little to her what she would say about her future.

With the guidance of her aunt Josephine, they reached their destination which was a small van in a small area designed for tourists’ stay. They entered the van. Madam Soufi welcomed them into the van and asked Diana to sit down right across her near a little window very politely. Diana was excited to finally reach her goal, and she tried to hide her excitement from her mother.

Madam Soufi, shuffled the cards and laid out the tarot cards from their back and told her to drink a cup of coffee and then she flipped the cup upside down and took out the cup and put it on a small paper upside down and splattered the remnants of the coffee on the plate on a piece of paper in a sporadic fashion. This was her reading. She then started to read, first she interpreted the tarot cards.

“I see that you have an important wish, and there is a high chance for it to come true, you will have an encounter with a man with small eyes and brown hair, someone with a small business, a fire sign (Aries, Sagittarius, or Leo), he could be old but he is very kind and he will make your wish come true and 9 times from now you will have joy, this final joy does not come easily, I see some waiting and a fight that happens before it” she said with excitement.

Then she read the coffee cup.

“Oh, I see a big tree and a big snake around it. I see a creature whose body is a half-bird and half man who has a knife and coming from behind to a female human who is shorter than her and there are lots of birds around them. I also see a pregnant woman inside a waxing moon” she said while getting surprised at what she saw. She interpreted them as she was getting a wish fulfilled because of a fortunate circumstance but some suffering is involved.

The session was over and there were so many questions in Diana’s mind, about what Madam Soufi saw in her cup.

Nine months passed and one day her aunt Josephine came to visit the family, and she said there is a garden full of mulberry trees not so far from them, the owner lets people pick mulberries for free and they say there is one tree among many that is a magical, but the tree moves it location and they don’t where it is, it is only luck that people find it and heal. She said whoever can pick mulberries from the barks of that trees will be healed from their diseases, whatever it may be.

Diana insisted that they go to that garden, and they all agreed for the fun of it they will go. When they arrived, they saw lots of trees and lots of people, and one after another all had juicy sweet mulberries and black berries.

“so, how do we find the magical mulberry tree?” Diana asked.

“that’s a question no one has answer to, I think you should rely more on your sixth sense” Lisa said to her daughter trying to guide her in the right direction.

They picked sweet juicy mulberries, some of them slipped right through Diana’s hand and Diana couldn’t wait so when she picked them, they went straight to her mouth and she laughed at the sweetness and happiness she felt when eating mulberries. The sun was shining and Diana wouldn’t leave the trees, she searched trees one by one but nothing happened, there was no healing, no magick, just sweet mulberries and lots of them, they were free for people who came to the garden.

After some time, Diana saw a small tree from the distance, the sun was shining and she squinted at the light, there were sparkles all around the tree.

“I want to go pick mulberries from that one” Diana said thrilled.

Everyone were busy picking mulberries and they didn’t hear her. So, she went towards the tree, the shapes of the mulberries were somehow different, they were odd looking, they were like geometric shapes, nice and refined. She picked one from the tree and its sweetness was different, it was very unusually sweet, almost tasted like honey. She liked the new taste, suddenly she saw that the tree has a hole in it and inside that hole there is a little book and shining light emits from it. She stretched her hand to take out the book but the book’s light pulled Diana inside it. Voice a woman was heard, it came from the book :

“You are forgiven by the grace of the universe, the light has shined on your soul”

She felt a gentle breeze on her skin, dangling between the book’s light and this world’s heavy atmosphere compared to the book’s energy. The difference was felt by Diana.

“I am forgiven??? I have not done anything wrong, why should I be forgiven???” Diana thought while struggling to get out of the book’s shining light.

The book heard Diana’s inner speech and this was the moment that the book swallowed Diana’s sweet consciousness into itself.
“Then, let me show you” the book said.

Diana could not bear the lightness of the atmosphere she was pulled in but little by little she came to get used to it.

Suddenly it got dark, cold and misty, she was afraid that some creature was lurking somewhere since she couldn’t see anything in the mist.

Diana heard whispers in unison repeated “your soul is burdened……………. Your soul is burdened”

It became louder and louder, until it turned into an annoying sharp sound that pained Diana’s ears. She not knowing what to do about it, from the pain fainted on the ground.

When she woke up she saw piles of books on each side of a small wooden desk and there was a big open book positioned at the center, some force started to write on the blank pages of the book:

“let me in……… let me relieve you of your pain and suffering…….. let me in……….. let me rescue you from the shadows that plagues your body and soul……….. let me in……….. let me be your fortunate outcome…..”

Diana came closer to the whispers of the book. The book continued to write and kept asking Diana for her permission. Diana was mesmerized and hypnotized by it and after a while she said “yes”…………. “yes I give permission…………….yes”. When she said it, an invisible force moved the pages of the book to page 1990, there was a golden vintage key inside the book on that page. Diana took the key and suddenly a door appeared in front of her and she opened the door and entered into a garden full of flowers where a table was set full of all kinds of fruits and delicious food and deserts, and there was man sitting on one of the chairs smiling at her.

“Welcome Diana to the world of divine delights” he said smiling. “I am your guide”. "please help yourself......... please come....." he pointed to Diana to sit on a chair and eat from the food and fruits on the table.

There were sweet mulberries on the table just waiting for her to be melted into her mouth. She felt a desire to eat and the more she ate, the more she was hungry for it.

Diana realized that she cannot walk from all those mulberries she ate. She fell on the ground.

Two women like angelic beings came and brought her to a small river with light green water and threw her inside, she felt a dark mist came out of her body as she was inside the river. Suddenly the river became full of a dark green liquid and the river’s clear green water turned into a swamp of slimy green liquid.

She saw another self of hers from a past life with her third eye wearing a wedding dress in a beautiful house but suddenly her husband to be came into the room with a knife.

“I don’t let anyone to cheat on me” her husband shouted before stabbing her in the back several times with a kitchen knife.

Diana in the river felt pain in her back as another self of hers from a past life was being stabbed in the back. Diana in the river felt a knife was in her back, but it was invisible, she tried to pull it out and as she was getting the knife out in the water a voice was heard, it was the water speaking to her “you shouldn’t trust people so easily, not all people love from the deepest place of their hearts, why do you let people stab you in the back?” is it because you think you’re not enough? “No matter what happens, hold on to life, maybe it’s the last time you suffer”. Diana cried and pulled the knife completely from her back, and her tears made the water light green and clear again. She forgave herself for trusting the wrong person. She was given a new life. She was found healed under the mulberry tree.
