They can't hurt me now (A Poem)

I fear myself when I look in the mirror
Do I need more suffering and terror?

I ask myself, "What am I searching for?"
"Will anyone hear the monsters inside me roar?"

Who do I need more to make myself better?
I'm shaking, cant write anyone a love letter!

Cant look anyone straight in the eyes
because I fear they find where I keep my secrets

In all the good times, I find purpose and meaning
And in all the bad times, there is a monster screaming

Watch me as I dive into the ocean of trouble
I come to the surface without any struggle

It's been a long time since I've fallen
They can't hurt me now, I'm all in!

I swim with big sharks, I'm far from madness
I long for showing mother earth my goodness
