My Ramadan Favorite Snack
Hello everyone at Hive!
During the holy month of Ramadan, one of the dishes that brings joy to our Iftar table is the delicious Dahi Bhallay.
This traditional Pakistani snack is loved for its refreshing taste and creamy texture. It's a dish that we prepare with love and care, and I'm excited to share our family recipe with you!

To make this delicious dish, you'll need ready-made lentil balls, which you can find at Asian stores. Start by soaking the lentil balls in warm water for 15-20 minutes to soften them up. Then, squeeze out the water from the lentil balls.
Next, whisk some yogurt with a pinch of salt and sugar until it's smooth. This will be your creamy and tangy sauce for the Dahi Bhallay.
Next, transfer the lentil balls to a serving dish and generously pour the yogurt sauce over them. Add a drizzle of tamarind chutney for a sweet and sour flavor. Finish off by sprinkling some chaat masala over the dish to enhance its taste.
Serve your Dahi Bhallay chilled and enjoy this delightful treat with your loved ones.
