In the last month we had updates that directly impacted the price and circulation of cards in the Splinterlands market, these news made the value of the cards increase considerably. Could this increase be a passing thing in the short term and are people chasing these cards just for FOMO? or are we just getting to the new "normal" in terms of card prices?

• INTRODUCTION •

Two major changes had a direct impact on the market, as some already expected, during this month some changes were applied, informed by the townhall meetings of that month and it was also announced about the new reward system that will come into effect from the next season.

The first change will play a key role during the new reward system and perhaps the most important thing about it is the requirement that was applied on the 22nd of May where from this date onwards the starter cards or "ghosts" will not count points towards the accumulation of the new Rshares.

Rshares are the points that we will have to accumulate to receive and be able to open the reward chests of the new "daily focus" quest system. In addition to the requirement to use purchased or rented cards to receive these Rshares points, one detail that also impacted the price of the cards is the announcement that gold foil cards will influence the overall quality of your chest rewards.

Would these changes be enough to stabilize the price of cards at a new level, or is it just a short-term, passing effect?

• GHOST CARDS NEVER MORE •

The first thing I will try to analyze is the impact on BCX 1 of Regular Foil. We know that not all players have all the cards, and everyone speculates that bots that play in the silver league only use start cards. It is instinctive to think that the creation of this need will increase demand, driven by those who so far have used starter cards without discrimination in their gameplay.

Taking these cards as an illustration of the idea, we can see that the 1BCX cards of untammed are rising in value considerably, we see in some cases 100% appreciation during this month. Because they are old cards, the difficulty of finding 1 BCX is greater and perhaps this is the reason for the great appreciation.

In cases like Serpentine spy, the price of high lvl cards that have a high amount of BCX curiously didn't appreciate. Maybe because the card isn't so useful in the endgame, but it's a curiosity to watch out for.

CHAOS LEGION COLLECTION

The curious thing about the Chaos Legion collection is that they don't follow the appreciation of the 1 BCX of untammed, perhaps because they still have enough supply and few people have combined the cards the market has enough 1BCX cards for this demand.

MY CONCLUSIONS

It's hard not to believe that, at least in this very short term, this market moment is not a FOMO, mainly because the rewards system has not yet been applied. As much as everyone is already aware of what will be applied, some aspects are still unknown as the real value of Rshares.

In my view the only way to know if this is the "new normal" is after implementing the new reward system to understand how far the value of cards is currently. Either way, it's a very exciting time for everyone playing splinterlands right now.

I will particularly wait a moment to buy new cards, I was lucky enough to buy some cards at the beginning of the month to prepare for the update.

Seria esse aumento algo passageiro em um curto prazo e as pessoas estão correndo atrás dessas cartas apenas por FOMO? ou só estamos chegando no novo "normal" em relação ao preço das cartas?

• INTRODUÇÃO •

Duas grandes mudanças impactaram diretamente no mercado, como alguns já esperavam, durante esse mês foram aplicadas algumas mudanças informadas pelas reuniões de townhall desse mês e foi anunciado também sobre o novo sistema de recompensas que entrará em vigor a partir da próxima season.

A primeira mudança terá um papel fundamental durante o novo sistema de recompensa e talves o mais importante sobre ela é o requerimento que foi aplicado no dia 22 de Maio onde a partir desta data as cartas starters ou "ghosts" não irão contar pontos para o acumulo do novo Rshares.

Rshares são os pontos que teremos que acumular para receber e poder abrir os baús de recompensa do novo sistema de quest "daily focus". Além do requerimento de usar cartas compradas ou alugadas para receber esses pontos de Rshares, um detalhe que também impactou o preço das cartas é o anuncio de que cartas gold foil irão influênciar na qualidade geral das recompensas do seu baú.

Seriam essas mudanças suficientes para estabilizar o preço das cartas em um novo patamar ou é apenas um efeito de curto prazo passageiro?

A primeira coisa que vou tentar analisar é sobre o impacto no BCX 1 do Regular Foil. Sabemos que não são todos os jogadores que possuem todas as cartas, e todos expeculam que os bots que jogam na silver league usem somente cartas startes. É institivo pensar que a criação desta necessidade irá aumentar a demanda, impulsionado por aqueles que até o momento usem sem descriminação as cartas starters em sua gameplay.

DIA 02 DE MAIO

Recompensas Ranqueadas:

• Cartas Starters serão marcadas como cartas startes quando for montar seu lineup.
• Cada carta starter que você usar em batalha e não a tenha, irá resultar em uma diminuição de DEC.
• Lançamento e distribuição de novas cartas Reward ainda será anunciado.

DIA 09 DE MAIO

Updates de desenvolvimento

• Mudanças nas recompensas ranqueadas estão em fase de testes.
• O lançamento está estimado para primeira season de Junho
• Logo após a Recompensas ranqueadas irá have o Modern/Wil
• Desenvolvimento do Modern/Wil está quase completo, apenas precisa de unir as mudanças de recompensas de raqueado.

DIA 16 DE MAIO

No dia 16 de maio veio o ponto final sobre as mudanças e como elas irão funcionar, conhecer essas mudanças é essencial a partir de agora.

Recompensas ranqueadas

• O objetivo é garantir que a econômia de Splinterlandas não favorece bots ou grandes jogadores com multiplas accounts.
• O time quer incentivar o grind o máximo que você conseguir com uma contar para que maximize suas recompensas.

• Mudanças principais:

Starter cards irão reduzir a quantidade de DEC que você ganha por batalha.
• Previne o farming de DEC sem ter de fato cartas adiquiridas.
• O preço das cartas e dos alugueis deverão aumentar devido a maior demanda.
• O valor das recompensa irão aumentar drasticamente conforme você vai para ligas maiores.
• Os chests de recompensas serão baseados na liga que você terminou na season anterior.

Jogar ~30 batalhas por dia irá permitir maximizar suas recompensas.
• Mantenha seu ECR a um valor razoavel.
• Jogar mais que isso irá diminuir seu ECR o que irá reduzir bastante seus shares de recompensas e DEC de recompensas.

Novas mudanças irão também encorajar jogadores a jogar todo dia e focar em sua taxa de vitória.

• Uma grande quantidade de players atualmente jogam um ou dois dias e param em um alto rating.
• ECR é reduzido em cada batalha, vitória ou derrota.
• Uma alta taxa de vitória irá maximizar as recompensas vs baixa win rate.
Mudançãs irão incluir 12 novas cartas de Recompensa adicionadas a pool de reward.
• O planejamento é lançar as mudanças na próxima temporara (Começando Sábado, 31 de Maio)

• OBSERVANDO O AUMENTO NOS PREÇOS •

Uma vez criado essa necessidade de possuir as cartas, podemos observar a demanda crescendo e como o preço do BCX vem aumentando durante o mês.

COLEÇÃO UNTAMMED

Serpentine Spy: Uma carta da coleção untammed que é muito útil por sua qualidade, a serpentine spy já teve um aumento de quase 100% em seu valor desde o dia 01 de Maio até hoje dia 25.

De US$ 2,50 no dia primeiro de Maio para US$4,90 hoje, 25 de Maio.

Unicorn Mustang: Outra carta da coleção Untammed com grande valor na composição de earth, um dos melhores tanks para se jogar com bastante resistencia a danos mágicos. Também está tendo uma valorização por volta de 100%

De US$ 7,00 no dia primeiro de Maio para US$14,00 hoje, 25 de Maio.

Shieldbarrer: Uma carta muito útil da coleção untammed para elemento light, um dos tanks mais usados em batalhas de mana alta.

De US$ 7,50 no dia primeiro de Maio para US$13,00 hoje, 25 de Maio.

Pegando essas cartas como ilustração da ideia, podemos ver que as cartas 1BCX de untammed estão subindo o valor consideravelmente, vemos em alguns casos valorização de 100% durante esse mês. Por ser cartas antigas, a dificuldade de encontrar 1 BCX é maior e talvez esse seja o motivo da grande valorização.

Em casos como o Serpentine spy, o preço de cartas lvl alto que tem alta quantidade de BCX curiosamente não teve valorização. Talves pela carta não ser tão útil no endgame, mas é uma curiosidade a se observar.

COLEÇÃO CHAOS LEGION

O curioso na coleção de Chaos Legion é que elas não acompanham a valorização do 1 BCX de untammed, talvez por ainda ter supply suficiente e poucas pessoas terem combinado as cartas o mercado tem cartas 1BCX o suficiente para essa demanda.

Tenyii Striker: Uma excelente carta da coleção Chaos Legion para o elemento fire, uma carta extremamente útil.

De US$ 0,53 no dia primeiro de Maio para US$0,55 hoje, 25 de Maio. Mas com o detalhe de ter alcançado US$0,75 nesse mês.

MINHAS CONCLUSÕES

É dificil não acreditar que pelo menos nesse curtíssimo prazo esse momento do mercado não seja um FOMO, principalmente por quê ainda não foi aplicado o sistema de recompensas. Por mais que todos já tenha ciência do que será aplicado, alguns aspectos ainda são desconhecidos como o real valor dos Rshares.

Em minha visão a única forma de saber se isso é o "novo normal" é após a implementação do novo sistema de recompensa para entender até que ponto chega o valor das cartas atualmente. De qualquer forma é um momento muito empolgante para todos que jogam splinterlands no momento.

Eu particulamente irei esperar um momento para comprar novas cartas, tive a sorte de comprar algumas cartas no inicio do mês para me preparar para o update.
