We're back! I can't believe it. We are already into friendlies and European competition qualifiers with some big teams battling away to make the competitions proper.

The real season starts again in earnest in any case in just over 2 weeks so we'd better get the gang back together and win some tokens!

No real changes to the competition but I'm dropping the time of the first goal so all you need to give me in comments is the first goal scorer and correct score. I've also upped the pots as the price of Sports tokens is terrible so I'm dropping 100K a day into the pot to play for. Joint winners will split it and there is no progressive jackpot.

There will be various bonus days during the season where we play for double pots and maybe some HBI shares and assorted tokens so call back everyday and follow me.

In the first goal scorer competition, own goals do not count. In the correct score competition, it's the score after 90mins. Extra time and penalties do not count and the pot for each competition is fixed at 50K. If more than one person chooses the same first goal scorer or correct score, the prize is shared, and everyone gets a little upvote! Don't forget, you can't choose the same prediction as me! It seems I also need to add, one entry per person. Don't forget new rule that only people with a rep of 50 or above are eligible to enter unless they have been approved. My game, my decision is final.

Well, that's it for today as I sorted all the winners out before I quit for the close season. Where does the time go guys?

I'm watching Leeds' progress through their friendlies carefully and its going to be a new look team to watch next season with all in the ins and outs but more of that in another post.
