Mushrooms

I don’t really know if they are eatable or not, i noticed a group of mushrooms growing on an abandoned rootless tree at the back of my yard.

i have heard my mom tell me stories of how’ when she was young they used mushrooms for different variety of foods, even now i have seen caterers use mushrooms for salads, stew, soups especially, my tribe the yoruba,s have more edible and medicinal mushrooms than any other tribe in nigeria.

but the suprising thing is that I don’t eat mushrooms, maybe because my mother doesn’t cook it at home when i was much younger, i mean i eat litterally all the normal things, I don’t select food that much but mushrooms are not just on my list of “i want to.

I learned that china consume mushrooms than any other country in the world even ten times more than it’s nearest rival u.s.a .

maybe I will get to try them someday, but I’m not really curious.
