Combro and Misro are traditional snacks from West Java Indonesia. They are made from grated cassava and coconut, filled with fermented nut (oncom) or brown sugar.

Combro and misro can be served as snacks to accompany coffee and tea. You can find combro and misro on street sellers in Jakarta, Bekasi and other cities in the West Java.

1.5 kg grated cassava
1/2 grated coconut
1 piece of oncom ( you can change with kind of spicy filling that is available in your country).
Brown sugar or coconut sugar
Basil leaves
Chillies

Make the filling

Grind some chillies with onions and garlics. Add the oncom and basil leaves. stir fry.

Squeeze the grated cassave to reduce the water, mix with grated coconut and add with little salt. Make some dough. Fill the dough with spiced oncom or sliced coconut sugar.

• Put the raw combro on a pan.
• Then fry in hot oil. let the combro look yellowish.
• Take out the combro from the frying pan.

Now, your combro and misro are ready. You can enjoy them in a free time with your family and friends.

Most Indonesian people like spicy and hot combro. That is why they like to put a lot of chillies in the oncom.
