The Queen

The world is in doom, cities and village are getting destroyed with all those stronger monster coming in their world. The land of Khymeria is getting smaller and smaller, people are getting killed, livestock are getting destroyed. Armies of the Order of the Silvershield have no match with this new kind of monster, they are decimated. Who’s going to the frontline to change the flow of the war?, The Queen itself. The Queen doesnt have magic and tricks but she’s been respected by all Khymerians. With those magic armor created by Bila she lead the march of her army. With her general the Defender of truth and Knights of the Order of the Silvershield they created an unshakable army. Boosted the morale by the Queen, each of the army feel no fear in fighting enabling them to fight the enemiy forces succesfully.

The Idea

My idea for creating the Queen is creating a new card to add for Order of the Silvershield faction(i dont know if this is one of the faction for the future update) and the saddening event of the passing of The Queen Elizabeth III. The Queen of Melromarc of "Rising of the shield hero" was also been a big part as my inspiration.

About the skill and stats the idea is that the queen will kill someone everytime she's in a battle thats why i putted the opportunity skill, A magic armor is given by Bila the Radiant thats why i gave her a forcefield and strengthen and quickness since she is there to boost the fighting capabilities of her soldier. The stat is not that bad nor good. Shes a very capable fighter thats why she has a decent attack, a moderate speed is just ok also, and the armor based on what she wear only thats why it is above average, the health is low since if you are the leader on a war you would be attack if the enemy soldier have an opportunity.

The Process

First is the rough sketch, not much in this part just creating a pose physique. I've done three pose choices but i choose this one cause it looks more inspiring in my opinion. The other 2 was she is raising her sword but i didnt look good if she wont be carrying a shield, the other one is she riding a horse but it will increase the work on my side although it will look better when finish.

Second step is the lining, at this step i can already see the finish result even though it doesnt have colors yet. My first plan is giving her a cape but i imagine it to be very plain in the end. I needed to give it more art to become a beautiful art. I also put her an armor and leather suit since she is going in a war.

Third is the base color. I choose the color that almost similar to silvershield unit like warrior and knights. I gave her also a blonde hair since in other anime royalties always have a blonde hair. I tried also giving the cloth part the color purple but it getting too fancy for someone whos going in a war.

And the final touch will be the shadows and highlights. I need to make sure that the metal part really looks like a metal, the gems should be shiny and the body curve should be emphasize.

The Card Design

The card design and border is not that fancy. I didnt gave lots of effort doing it. I just look at the Rebellion Card Design and created my own border and icons with it.
