The true meaning of my photography-Monomad challenge

Taking photos with a phone is considered mediocre, and having a state-of-the-art camera is the opposite. Neither is an absolute truth. However, there are times when a phone proves to be more practical. In street photography, discretion is important. Capturing spontaneous emotions without judgments other than composition, which is sufficiently and necessarily subjective. A camera draws looks that break the fourth wall and reveal the illusion. That’s why sometimes it's better to fake a phone call to take a photo of someone in their world. This way, the moment (their moment) isn’t interrupted, inadvertently shared with others who experience it differently. But in essence, there is something that mobilizes everything on a shared path. The phone is functional in that sense. It allows for camouflage and shapes real scenes, or at least, as close as possible to a genuine experience. And what is genuine? An authentic fact, isolated from pretensions that wish to be seen for a hidden purpose. It’s making the observed moment meaningful.
