These past few days, I've been taking photos exclusively of the city's architecture.

I often observe the buildings, and some have an attractive design. However, I also see decay and wear. It's as if the city is frozen in time.

I want to document this so that when progress eventually comes, we never forget what we once were, shaping what we will become.

This doesn't mean that the entire city is like this; maybe I have a fixation on ugliness. It's not morbid or anything like that, but I believe that photography is a medium not only for art but also for documentation. Without it, we forget who we are.

Estos últimos días he hecho fotos solamente a la arquitectura de la ciudad.

Suelo ver los edificios, y algunos tienen un diseño atractivo. Sin embargo, también veo decadencia, y desgaste. Es como si la ciudad estuviera detenida en el tiempo.

Quiero registrarlo para que cuando llegue el momento en que haya algún avance, jamás se olvide lo fuimos, para que influya en lo que seremos.

Esto no quiere decir que toda la ciudad sea así, puede que tenga alguna fijación con la fealdad, y no raya en el morbo ni nada por el estilo, sino que considero que la fotografía es un medio no solo para el arte, sino para la documentación, y sin ella, olvidamos quienes somos.
