Flexi-Cheesseburger

Hello Hive. 😃 I'm back again with another @drabble.club microfiction, that is #zapfic100, inspired by the zapfic prompt "flexitarian" taken from @zapfic.club's post.

I strolled into the restaurant. The ambience was cool and lovely. My friends waved at me from their table across the room.

Saying hello to familiar faces, I walked up to their table and grimaced. The meals spread out on the table invited me to take a chill pill.

Cheeseburgers, meatloaf, spaghetti, fried chicken, and a vibrant bowl of veggies!

I sat down and watched as my friends started with the veggies first. My conscience urged me to join them.

Nah. I would take a break and show my flexitarian side. I bit into a cheeseburger to my friends' amazement.
