LADIES OF HIVE COMMUNITY CONTEST

This is a contest from our community to you, women empowering each other both on the blockchain and in Discord! A place we love and where Hive is alive. If you haven't joined our discord yet, an invite can be found by clicking on the first banner under this post!

We will award 3 HIVE, 300 Ecency Points, 15 LEO tokens, and 7 QUEER tokens to the best entry. The Second Place winner will receive 2 HIVE, 150 Ecency Points, 7 LEO tokens, and 5 QUEER tokens each. Third Place Winners will be granted one HIVE, 50 Ecency Points, a split of the remaining LEO tokens, and 3 QUEER tokens each.

For this week we want to explore questions to equip us in Emergency Hive Intervention, like CPR. Know what to do when you see a Hiver in crisis!

Hive has languished over the last several months so some of us begin to lose faith, see our accounts lose value, or worse — quit Hive! But often there’s more to the story...

1️⃣ Scenario 1: A reputation 52 friend says that she no longer wants to be active in Hive, claiming that she can't make the time, the coin is so low valued, and only a few people ever read her posts. What could you do to encourage and help her to keep trying? Writing tips? Time management? Other?

2️⃣ Scenario 2: A reputation 58 girl is frustrated over her last post having been downvoted to half it’s payout by a Watchdog account accusing her of plagiarism. She becomes angry and vows to quit Hive. What could you do to help resolve the situation? Tell her to relax? Other? Thoughts?

Good luck Ladies!!!
Make sure you read over the rules again, and bear in mind the importance of sourcing your images or quotes, and may the greatest imagination win!

Seven suggestions (reminders) to consider:

Guard your passwords carefully, and only publish with the posting key,
Use your active key only for wallet transactions, Keychain, Peaklock, and Hivesigner
The Master Password and the Owner key are only used to reset compromised passwords,
DO NOT lose your passwords; copy and store offline,
Do not publish other people's work, be it photos or written, without credit, and be sure to source all of your work, even if it is your own.
An introduceyourself tag is used only once , and
Do Not open any links in memos or comments that you do not know who they belong to. If it sounds too good to be true it probably is, so the old saying goes. There is nothing free here.

Optional Scenario 3 Was supposed to be a Hiver discovering her account is no longer under her control and finds that her HP has initiated a power down. She is in panic.

It is a typical hypothetical situation, but very real and stressful to those that experience it.
Prevention is the best policy.
There is protocol in account recovery in place but not everyone may be aware of it. Time will be the essence, and proof of identity will be needed.
The process begins by clicking the right top corner of the Hive.blog menu and selecting the 'Stolen Accounts Recovery' tab.

but very real and stressful to those that experience it.

I encountered some of these issues. Not just those with low reputations, but even the higher ones. It's really hard to maintain rewards and when the market goes south, it just adds fuel to the fire for some. I guess the only key here is interaction to gain more influence and readers..

Vaya que tema más actualizado han traído en la semana.
1️⃣ Escenario 1: una amiga de reputación 52 dice que ya no quiere estar activa en Hive, alegando que no puede hacer el tiempo, la moneda tiene un valor muy bajo y solo unas pocas personas leen sus publicaciones. ¿Qué podrías hacer para alentarla y ayudarla a seguir intentándolo? ¿Consejos para escribir? ¿Gestión del tiempo? ¿Otro? 𝐀𝐍𝐃 / 𝐎𝐑 ~

2️⃣ Escenario 2: una chica de reputación 58 está frustrada porque su última publicación fue rechazada a la mitad de su pago por una cuenta de Watchdog que la acusa de plagio. Ella se enoja y jura dejar Hive. ¿Qué podrías hacer para ayudar a resolver la situación? ¿Decirle que se relaje? ¿Otro? ¿Pensamientos?

like everyone's entry is literally talking to me directly, its not easy being a newbie out there, learning the ropes and seeing the result gradually.

This week's contest is a very good one, its a medium to reach out to every newbie out there struggling to find her footing on Hive.

I have gone through the method of low qualification publication and it is frustrating since with the time that I have been here I have seen publications that are lower than mine in terms of word count and they are paid equally. The truth is that one wonders if there is favoritism, but in the same way I continue with my publications and I will make the next one more extensive. I think that depends on the curator.

Though there are various attempts to On-Board a given individual there is no cogent sure fire means to fully prepare a new Hiver to succeed. Many do not realized the amount of perseverance or need of consistency to eventually achieve good results so that is my hope that this week, #ladiesofhive can encourage those among us and understand that they are not alone in their feelings. For the benefit of our discouraged members, an opportunity to share on, What strategies work. 🌱
