Forest Healer, reckless and charming 🍀- Fan Art.
I was restless, I wanted for a couple of days to finish a drawing I had started. But for multiple work reasons I had not been able to calmly get down to it, today it was a relief to be able to finish it. I'm like children when they lie down on the ground to rest after playing so much, although I couldn't sleep without first sharing with you my Fan Art of the Forest Healer.
In my thinking, I have improved the sketch a lot. I consider that it is becoming easier for me to do certain things when drawing, that is, the gods of Olympus have not abandoned me 🤣. However, the more details, the more I put effort into it, because I am somewhat of a perfectionist and sometimes I do a line more than 10 times and until I turn it over and over and it satisfies me no matter where I look at it, I don't stop redoing it (knack).
I tell you that while I draw many things happen to me. But today I will share with you my true "trust in the process"---Painting and detailing the eyes, they are my clearest definition of trust that it turns out well in the end. Sometimes we shouldn't rush into things until they are finished. For the eyes, as a usual characterization of my drawings, I usually use a combination of 3 base colors, incorporated with aqueous acrylic, and then with small touches I use the blurred brush. Then I define the center of the eye, which is always darker and add some highlights and the nice notch that you see a lot in anime (I'm an animelover)

The eyes are the main thing I do when starting the color stage, I think they help me get off to a good start. For this cute Fan Art of the Healer of the Forest I wanted to develop the character with a little more character, so that the gaze is fixed and challenging. For the clothing, I have mixed wide, low-cut sleeves with a top-type detail that is decorated with details simulating the interior of trees. You know, those lines that are open circular inside the trunk and increase as the years go by. In addition to this, I have dressed in a cute short with paper brush details that has added an incredible texture to it. But what I love most, the tights and the clover detail, I have loved that.
The drawing process took me a little more than 5 hours, but spread over almost 3 days. Since I had some editing to do, study some things and also serve some clients. For the drawing I have used brushes such as: Traditional pencil, pen brush, paper brush, airbrush, mesh and blur. I also made use of layers like crop, multiply and luminosity to get to some effects I wanted. The truth is I feel happy, I like to draw both traditionally and digitally, but I don't do it professionally, but rather because I like it, I feel like I please my inner child.
Let's quickly see the Drawing process:
To draw I used my tablet, pencil and Medibang Paint as a drawing program. I started with a simple figure sketch to position the pose how I wanted, I usually do this to flesh out my character idea more. Then I went on to make a clean and more defined line. For this I used the ink pencil brush, which I really like the possible difference it makes in the thickness of the stroke, for this I have varied it for areas with a 3, 4, and 7. Then I went to a stage of cleaning the strokes , with an eraser, I have repeated these steps twice as I added more details. Later I added a new layer and started the color stage, I do this by color sections divided into layers. To then work on details using the clipping layer. After I had my character with the base colors, I moved on to doing the details using a clipping layer as needed. Here I show you the drawing process:

Here the final result:
I also made the background, using the color yellow as a base and the two-tone petal brush, one in white and the other in black with opacity. Then I applied a Gaussian blur and played a little with the opacity of the base color. Since she is the Healer of the Forest, it seemed perfect to me that the background was something related to nature, but at the same time I wanted it not to be visually heavy so that my beautiful girl stood out in splendor with the pose and her hair moved by the wind. I really like this pose, because it is quite dynamic, and it also demonstrates power.
Note: I made 3 different types of funds, until I could find the one that seemed most appropriate to me 🙃.

Excelente!!
Feliz domingo Holo!
