Alice Madness Returns - The Ruin Of The Queen's Castle And Its Bloody Interior

Alice Madness Returns Adventure is getting stranger and stranger as I get closer to the end, I'm still in the castle of the red queen and really something that fascinates me about this title are the open and extensive spaces, additionally it is amazing with the elements of the castle as the walls, columns and all other structures that I find. After going through a souvenir door I arrived to what looks like the outer garden, but not before seeing an area like a very large hallway and decorated with large carpets and red velvet curtains, not to mention that the story became a little sadder to give indications that the fire where all of Alice's relatives died was caused by arson.

The Garden has a gray and frosted aspect showing how everything has been abandoned and the passage of time is noticeable, besides having that somewhat arid aspect. Something that I found very striking was the small labyrinth of leaves, I think it's great the way it looks in this title and how it generates the contrast with the typical image you would have of a completely green and full of life labyrinth.

After advancing a bit and even seeing a central area with large cliffs in it, the executioner that has so often haunted me and embittered my existence reappeared, although who would have thought that this would be the end of his life and in a somewhat unexpected way.

After getting a cake that curiously said eat me, Alice became so big that she was able to crush the executioner with a simple stomp. It was very gratifying to see it destroyed. But now the really peculiar thing is to see the giant Alice in such a large place where before I could notice its magnitude and now it seems that it was a scale model. The effect of seeing Alice so big is very funny just as some elements can seem as if they were small objects and not that Alice was giant.

I think the funniest thing was to see the horde of enemies trying to defeat me, and in front of Alice's size they almost didn't hurt me. A funny aspect is how Alice attacks in this state, she kicks and hits with her hands in a very funny way that reminds me of the typical movies or stories of giants where they attack in a slow and clumsy way, although it would have been great to see the weapons with the same size increase as Alice.

Cannon towers and giant tentacles were some of the new enemies, although in the end the most impressive was the queen's tower in the center of the castle, a very slender tower with several details made with flesh and red tones to imply that they are living parts, a bit grotesque if you think about it, especially with the eyeball at the tip of the tower and with the heart at the foot of the tower that beat slowly, in a bloody way Alice destroys it by crushing it with her own hands.

Now the next level will be the interior of the tower and as I imagined its design is clearly bloody and grotesque, we enter the interior of a living being where all the walls and designs will have style of viscera or similar and reddish tones, always tends to be something shocking these bloody styles, but personally have never been my favorite. In one of the combat challenges I found a staircase made of meat and with a very slippery aspect, without a doubt I prefer the designs a little less gory like the one of the statue at the end of the challenge. Now I'll have to explore a level with this peculiar style, I just hope it's short.
