Today, you will enjoy an exquisite dish, I will explain how to prepare a delicious "sautéed vegetables and chicken with sweet and sour sauce and capers". Buenas noches queridos Hivers, espero que hayan pasado un fantástico jueves... Hoy, disfrutarán de un exquisito platillo, les explicaré como preparar un delicioso "salteado de vegetales y pollo con salsa agridulce y alcaparras". Espero que disfruten el proceso y se animen compartir ésta receta con sus familiares y amigos... Pongámonos el delantal!

  • The first step will be to season our chicken cubes, we add: mustard, soy sauce, dried oregano, pepper, garlic, cumin and a touch of curry.

  • Cook over medium-high heat for 20 minutes or until it is ready. Reserve for use in the final step.

  • To make this appetizing dish I used the following vegetables: onion, carrot, zucchini, red bell pepper, eggplant and scallion.
  • Para realizar éste apetitoso platillo utilicé las siguientes verduras: cebolla, zanahoria, calabacín, pimiento rojo, berenjena y cebollín.

  • Fry the onion, cut in half moons (season with salt and pepper),
  • Sofreímos la cebolla, cortada en medias lunas (salpimentamos).

  • The next ingredient that I am going to incorporate will be the "carrot", since due to its consistency it is the vegetable that takes the longest time to soften.
  • El siguiente ingrediente que voy a incorporar será la "zanahoria", ya que por su consistencia es la hortaliza que tarda más en ablandarse.

  • Add the eggplant, cut into julienne strips (remove the skin), sauté for 3 minutes.
  • Añadimos la berenjena, cortada en julianas (extraemos la piel), salteamos durante 3 minutos.

  • Next, integrate the bell pepper with the zucchini... Place the reserved chicken cubes.

  • To prepare our succulent sweet and sour sauce I used: brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, tomato sauce and a touch of cinnamon powder.
  • Para preparar nuestra suculenta salsa agridulce utilicé: azúcar morena, vinagre de manzana, salsa de tomate y un toque de canela en polvo.

  • Add the sugar, the tomato sauce, the apple cider vinegar and the touch of cinnamon powder. Add 1/2 cup of water, add salt to taste. Cover and cook over medium-low heat for 25-30 minutes or until it is ready.
  • Incorporamos el azúcar, la salsa de tomate, el vinagre de manzana y el toque de canela en polvo. Añadimos 1/2 taza de agua, rectificamos el punto de sal. Tapamos y cocinamos a fuego "medio-bajo" durante 25-30 minutos o hasta comprobar que está listo.

  • When there are a few minutes left for our dish to be ready, add the chives, cut in "semi-thick" slices.
