(ENG-ESP) Exquisite and crunchy cookies with basil and lemon / Exquisitas y crujientes galletas de albahaca y limón

Today, I will explain you in an "easy and simple" way how to prepare some exquisite and aromatic "lemon and basil cookies".
In the first bite, you will enjoy the "acid" taste of lemon and after a few seconds you will feel the "fresh and delicate" magic of basil. Whenever I prepare this dessert I always decorate it with "sugar", this little touch will give it a MORE crunchy texture... I am sure you will love this recipe as much as I do!

Hoy, les explicaré de forma fácil y sencilla como preparar unas exquisitas y aromáticas "galletas de limón y albahaca".
En el primer bocado, disfrutaran del sabor "ácido" del limón y a los pocos segundos sentirán la magia "fresca y delicada" de la albahaca. Siempre que preparo éste postre suelo decorar con "azúcar", éste toquesito aportará una textura MÁS crocante... Estoy segura que amaran ésta receta tanto como yo!
To make this recipe I used the following ingredients: 1 cup of wheat flour, 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder, 70 grams of unsalted butter, 1/2 cup of sugar, 1 lemon, basil leaves, 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla essence and a pinch of salt.
I had long wanted to prepare some "heart" shaped cookies, but I only have "circular and square" molds. For those who want to make a cookie cutter can use "aluminum foil", fold the piece several times, until its resistance allows them to give the shape they want ... the result I loved!
- Para realizar ésta receta utilicé los siguientes ingredientes: 1 taza de harina de trigo, 1/2 cucharadita de polvo de hornear, 70 gramos de mantequilla "sin sal", 1/2 taza de azúcar, 1 limón, hojas de albahaca, 1/2 cucharadita de esencia de vainilla y una pizca de sal.
- Tenía tiempo deseando preparar unas galletas con forma de "corazón", pero solamente tengo moldes "circulares y cuadrados". Para los que deseen realizar un cortador de galletas pueden utilizar "papel de aluminio", doblan varias veces el trozo, hasta que su resistencia les permita dar la forma que más deseen... el resultado me encantó!
- Add to a bowl: 1 cup of wheat flour, a pinch of salt, 1/2 cup of sugar and the zest of 1 lemon (mix).
- Agregamos a un bowl: 1 taza de harina de trigo, 1/2 cucharadita de polvo de hornear, una pizca de sal, 1/2 taza de azúcar y la ralladura de 1 limón (mezclamos).
- We incorporate "finely chopped" our aromatic "basil" leaves (4 tablespoons).
- Incorporamos "finamente cortadas" nuestras aromáticas hojas de "albahaca" (4 cucharadas).
- Add the juice of 1 "lemon" together with the "unsalted" butter. First mix with a spatula and then knead until you get a "soft and manageable" texture. You will know that the dough is ready when NO cracks form. Add the vanilla essence.
- Añadimos el zumo de 1 "limón" junto con la mantequilla "sin sal". Primero mezclamos con una espátula y luego amasamos hasta conseguir una textura "suave y manejable". Sabrán que la masa está lista cuando NO se forman grietas. Colocamos la esencia de vainilla.
- We flour a clean surface, with the help of a rolling pin we extend our dough. In this step, I will use my "heart" shaped cookie cutter, we press the mold with force. I will use a silicone paddle to separate it from the counter, we place it on top of the tray where we are going to bake.
- Enharinamos una superficie limpia, con ayuda de un rodillo extendemos nuestra masa. En éste paso, utilizaré mi cortador de galletas con forma de "corazón", presionamos el molde con fuerza. Utilizaré una paleta de silicón para separar del mesón, colocamos encima de la bandeja donde vamos a hornear.
- Decorate with a touch of sugar, bake at 180º for approximately 20 minutes, everything will depend on the power of the oven, you will know that the cookies are ready when they are a little golden around the edges.
- Decoramos con un toquesito de azúcar, horneamos a 180º aproximadamente durante 20 minutos, todo dependerá de la potencia del horno, sabrán que las galletas están listas cuando estén un poco doradas por los bordes.
