Visit Wat Mai San Din Daeng, Fang District, Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Hello everyone. Yesterday I introduced temples in Chiang Rai province to everyone. In this post, I will introduce and take everyone to see temples in Chiang Mai province. This temple is called Wat Mai San Din Daeng. Wat Mai San Din Daeng is a small rural temple in the district where I live. This temple is a new temple. The temple received permission to be established as a temple in 2013 (10 years ago). And the temple request for permission to receive royal granting of the land to a particular temple by announcing in royal decree 2 years ago. But I'm not sure if the temple has already received royal granting of the land to a particular temple by announcing in royal decree or not.
Wat Mai San Din Daeng, Mae Sun Subdistrict, Fang District, Chiang Mai Province, Thailand. And the temple is located on a chiang mai rural road. This trip, we only went to the temple with 2 people, me and my wife. This temple is not far from my son's school. After sending my son and granddaughter to school. So we intended to go to this temple. As we traveled before reaching the temple, we could see the outstanding buddha image hall (viharn) and ordination hall (ubosot) of temple from a distance first.
This temple does not have an entrance arch. There are only two lion statues on pillars between the entrance to the temple.
The name plate of the temple is made of wood. The walls of the temple are made of bricks but not plastered with cement.
The buddha image hall (viharn) and ordination hall (ubosot) are close to each other. When my wife and I walked inside the temple, we saw even more beautiful and outstanding buddha image hall (viharn) and ordination hall (ubosot).
The buddha image hall (viharn) is larger than the ordination hall (ubosot). This buddha image hall (viharn) is built from bricks plastered with cement, decorated with gold and green stucco patterns in Lanna style. And the railing of the stairs at the entrance to the buddha image hall (viharn) has two large serpent statue.
The small ordination hall (ubosot) was built from bricks plastered with cement as well. And decorated with multi-colored stucco patterns in Lanna style. But the ordination hall (ubosot) doesn't seem to have been completed yet.
The railing of the stairs at the entrance to the chapel has two small serpent statues with beautiful stucco designs.
The temple's pagoda is a large bell-shaped pagoda with a polygonal foundation. And there are many small pagodas surrounding this pagoda.
Inside the temple there are also buildings and houses for monks, which I did not photograph. And a garden with trees and flowers.
Additionally, the garden has buddha statues, cow statue and a bell tower.
These are the stories and photos of Wat Mai San Din Daeng I want to share for this post. Invite everyone to watch and enjoy my stories and photos. Have a great day. See you next time. Thank you for your support and visiting my post. Bye 🤗
