Quiet rural village : Mae Ngon Khilek village, Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. In this post I want to share a rural village in my district again. My wife and I still travel whenever we have free time and opportunity. A few days ago we had about 2 hours of free time before picking up our son from school. So we planned this limited time trip with driving around in our district. And passing through many rural villages. One of them is Mae Ngon Khilek village. Mae Ngon Khilek village is a large rural village in the prosperous Mae Ngon Subdistrict. In the community area there are many large and small houses. There is the school, community shops, rice mill and health station.

In addition, in the community area of the village there is a village temple : Wat Phrom Chariyawas. This temple is the village's only sacred place for religious ceremonies. Because the people in this village are local thai people and believe in buddhism. This temple is an old temple built in AD 1826 or 198 years ago. And the temple received royal granting of the land to a particular temple by announcing in royal decree in AD 1951 or 73 years ago. Unfortunately, on that day the temple had religious ceremonies, so we did not enter the temple and did not take photos in the temple.

Most people in Mae Ngon Khilek village are farmers. Therefore there are many agricultural areas. And most farms are outside the community area. Of course my wife and I really like the farm area. It's a natural atmosphere, making us happy and relaxed every time we see it. So we spent most of our time seeing the farm area of this village by driving around and walking to enjoy with it. I took many pictures of the farm atmosphere in this village and shared them with everyone. There are both rice fields and fruit plantations. Take a look.
